Grab & Go Seaweed by SeaSnax

SeaSnax

by Lisa Gal

I cannot say enough about SeaSnax. We have been working together since the beginning, so this time I want to share a little about who they are:

  • SeaSnax is a socially conscious, kid-inspired family business.  They source only the highest quality of seaweed from Korea. Not only do they care about kids, but they care about the planet too. For this reason they contribute 10% of their annual net profit to non-profit organizations committed to making the world a better and gentler place for our children and our earth.

So grab yourself some Sheets, STIX, Chomperz, SeaVegi or SeaMama’s and get ready for a Strangely Addictive snack that you won’t put down!

We are excited for them to take part in another Hollywood Swag Bag this time honoring the 2017 SAG award nominees and talent staying at The Four Seasons Hotel.

A second chance with Repêchage

A few weeks ago I shared my at home seaweed facial with all of you that I discovered through surfing the internet. I hope if you are giving it a try that you are loving it and relaxing with seaweed. Today I have a skincare line that I have been using for quite sometime and discovered at Premiere Orlando, that is made with the number one ingredient..SEAWEED!!! Thats right more seaweed. Repêchage skincare is your true “Beauty From the Sea” skincare line that not only helps with acne but can help with dry, anti aging, normal, sensitive and more. As well as all your body care needs.

Since 1980, Repêchage (which mean “a second chance”) has taken pride in using only the best seaweed and ingredients to help give you the best skin of your life. Trust me! Having a tremendous amount of acne and having struggled to find the perfect product my whole life, I am so happy to have found Repêchage to add to my skincare routine. The Hydra Medic line ( that I currently have been using) is a perfect amount of acne medication to help start clearing it up in the first use. After my first use of Repêchage, I could feel the tingly sensation that digs down deep giving the ultimate clean. The 4 Hydra Medic products I use are the foaming gel cleanser, astringent , serum and nightly drying lotion. They are all gentle enough to use on a daily bases.

Repêchage uses a variety of different seaweeds, all found off the Brittany Coast of France. Each bundle of seaweed serves its own purpose when it comes to the range of skin conditions (check out the differences here-http://www.repechage.com/shopcontent.asp?type=About+Seaweed). I guess you can say this is truly from “20,000 leagues under the sea”. After it has been gathered, it is processed the “Repêchage” way to give it the most nutrients. Repêchage also carries nutrient based mineral makeup of foundation, powders, concealers and lip gloss. Seriously with so much to choose from, Repêchage is a must try product for any skincare concern. Relax with seaweed

From “20,000 leagues under the sea” comes the ultimate skincare ingredient.. seaweed. That dreaded things that tends to float around at the beach that gets in the way, is one of the best regimens you can do to your skin. It improves elasticity, texture and can help diminish acne. I also have found that if you have dry skin it adds moisture if your overly oily it takes away just some of the excess.

Many of us now this already but I just wanted to share my recent “seaweed” experience using hot water and a seaweed sheet. These seaweed sheets can be found in your seafood section of your local supermarket. Tear off a section about the size of 2 fingers. Set it in the hot water just long enough to make it soft. Once it has soaked start taking the seaweed and spread it on your face. Some of the seaweed will stay behind, so you may look a little funny. Leave on for 5 minutes and rinse.

After it is rinsed off you can really feel the tightness coming in your skin and feeling refreshed. You may even feel that your skin has been exfoliated and less “gritty”. You can really feel the seaweed working even after it has been rinsed off. I enjoy doing an at home seaweed mask at least twice a week. So next time you need some “me time” pour yourself a glass of wine, and dive “20,000 leagues under the sea” with your at home, inexpensive seaweed facial. Have fun!

One little tip. Before putting the mask on allow some hot water to open your pores so that the seaweed can really dig down deep. Then rinse with cool water to close the pores holding everything in.

Seaweed Oil Will Leave Your Skin In Satin Heaven

No spa experience is complete without nice, aromatic oils to help lock in the moisture and add all the hydration back to the skin. Many oils seem to make your skin feel greasy and at times, look “aged”. With another great product from Repechage, you can guarantee that your skin will drink in the beauty from the sea.

Repechage Seaweed Nutri Oil

Repechage Seaweed Nutri Oil

I have never been big on oils because of the fact my skin is already oily and tends to break out. When I first used Repechage Vita Cura Triple Action Nutri Oil, right after my Vita Cura Seaweed Bubble Bath, I just put it in a small spot to see how my skin would react. After leaving it on for a few hours my skin was still smooth, and the scent was still intact. And another bonus my skin did not break out but I aslo only used a few drops. With this product you dont have to use a lot. Less is more! Even though my biggest concern was how my skin would react still my first reaction was the scent. It is a nice soft aroma that doesnt make you feel like you doused yourself in a fragrance. Also, the smoothness of the oil on the skin is like putting a veil over it. Smooth, adds shine and gives off a satin feel.

The Repechage Vita Cura Triple Action Nutri Oil is full of vitamins and essential oils all contributing their own factor in aid to the skin. It has Carrot Oil to that helps rebuild the skin barrier, Mafura Oil to help restore the skin’s elasticity and Linoleic & Linolenic acids to help to diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles, just to name a few. This oil will never give off a greasy feel and will make you feel brand new. Now I do know that many people like to lather up in baby oil, or other kinds of oil when going to the beach. I want to say please DO NOT use Repechage Nutri Oil, or any oil, as a sun protectant. There are NO SPF’s in oils and sun damage can cause skin cancer and will give the affects of premature aging.

This Nutri Oil from Repepchage will make you feel renewed and refreshed, without feeling slippery. This a definite must do after any shower or bubble bath. For more info on the product and other Repechage products be sure to visit www.repechage.com

Relax In Seaweed From Repechage

Growing up I always loved bubble baths but I could never take one because the ingredients caused me to have an allergic reaction. So unfortunately I had to endure a life without them. Nowadays products are made less intense, with more natural and organic ingredients. Ever since I started using Repechage New Vita Cura Triple Action Foaming Seaweed Bubble Bath, I can now enjoy the bubble baths I missed as a kid.

After my day at Premiere Orlando I headed over to St. Petersburg for Studio 10 the next day. After walking around Premiere all day my legs, back and arms were crying out for help. I got to see Repechage again and they told me about their new line of skincare called Vita Cura Body made with such ingredients as seaweed (directly from the depths of the Brittany Cost of France), 12 vitamins (including B12) , 18 amino acids and trace elements. At my hotel in St. Petersburg I wasted no time trying out my new bubble bath. My sensitive skin was in heaven, mainly because this amaing bubble bath did not make it break out and make me itch. The aroma, feel and just the overall experience was like having a spa get away right in the privacy of my own room. And less expensive. After my bath not only did I feel extremely relaxed and refreshed but my skin felt soft and healthy. And just a few days ago when I was a little stressed I took advantage of the bubble bath again and, just like the first time, I felt renewed and restored.

The first impression I got from the Vita Cura Body line was the use of color and designs on the packaging. I have always said that the first thing the consumer notices is the packaging. If something is packaged in bright vibrant colors it will instantly attract attention. Repechage, being known for their use of seaweed, packaging always seems like you are looking right into the bottom of the ocean.

So when you are in dire need of a stress free, spa getaway in the privacy of your own home, try Repechage’s Vita Cura Triple Action Foaming Seaweed Bubble Bath and experience the beauty from the sea.

Beauty in Seaweed

If it’s good enough to put in your body, it’s good enough to put on your skin. That is what I have always said and believed. With Repechage Beauty from the Sea skin care, you can experience an all-natural skin routine made with seaweed with results you will not believe.   CEO and Founder of Repechage Lydia Sarfati has created the first line of seaweed- based skincare released in the U.S. She is the developer of the 4 layer facial and opened the first day spa in 1977 in Manhattan.

While at Premiere Orlando, in the midst of my hectic schedule, I got to stop and experience a relaxing facial from Repechage Skin Care.  While there I learned all about how their seaweed is found by professional divers in the oceans of France and brought back to Repechage headquarters in New Jersey.  After my facial was over (I didn’t want it to end) I also got to experience their line of mineral makeup and bring home samples of their new line of hair care as well.

Everything I tried from Repechage I LOVE. With me having extremely sensitive skin, there are only a few lines of cosmetics, and hair care that I can use. Repechage is one I can.

When I got home I gave myself a head to toe treatment with the Hair Spa Seaweed Mask, Hair Spa Serum,  Hydra Medic  7 Step skin care and topped it all off with Perfect Skin Liquid Foundation.  It was my own home spa day from the sea J

Every product is formulated with select seaweed plants.  Little did I know there are various kinds of seaweed and each product as its own special blend.  The only kind of seaweed I thought there was is the kind on sushi lol.

Next time you are looking for a relaxing spa day, a clean and natural way to cleanse your face, or give yourself an at home hair treatment, go for Repechage Beauty from the Sea products. To see where you too can find a Repechage salon, and get your own at home treatments visit www.repechage.com

The Sea Awaits!!!!
