Pretty in Pastels!

Spring is here and Summer is just around the corner!  Time for some  pretty pastel bobby pin hair clips by Remington.  These beautiful colors are popping up everywhere and I don’t want to miss the trend.  I purchased the Remington Hair Clips for just $3.00 and started with one to hold back my growing-out bangs. I loved the look and I then started to stack four different colors in my hair for a pretty design. A great addition to my hair accessories collection!

The Wet Brush

With the help of my ever so helpful and handy brother, Jameson, we were able to discover how great The Wet Brush really is! Prior to this, I had used it on myself when my hair was still damp and it gently and smoothly untangled my hair with no pain whatsoever. The real test was seeing how my brother felt about the brush. (Spoiler alert- he loved it!) Being a young boy, sitting through a dreadful hair brushing is definitely not of interest to him, but since our new discovery, he is able to brush his own hair with no problem at all! Unlike other brushes, the bristles on The Wet Brush are super thin and flexible, making it easy to run through hair, untangling with no pulling or pain. Get a Complete Salon Manicure at home With Sally Hansen

Skip the salon, and get the same results at Home! Infused in this one bottle is a base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, salon-inspired color, top coat, chip-resistance and and a gel finish. It should last for about 10 days it has for me. This is much easier to apply than other nail polishes. I usually do a base and too coat so it can last longer. With the Complete Salon Manicure from Sally Hansen I just had to apply two coats and I was finished! For my design I did a water marble with ” Green Tea” and “Grass Slipper”. Water Marbling is time consuming but easy to do look it up online to achieve this look.

Before painting my nails I usually file them.  Although,  the old fashioned file is not like Sally Hansemn’s Sapphire Nail File. To shape begin with the medium-grit inner curve to change  nail length and shape. Hold file at a slight angle to nail and file in one direction to help prevent nails from splitting and peeling. Work from the sides of each nail to its center. Use the fine-grit outer curve for a smooth finish. After you’re finished wash the filer to keep it like new.

Vegan Banana Boo Boo Bread

bowl
preheat oven 450
1 cup evaporated cain sugar
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 container vanilla soy yogurt
1 cup mashed bananas 2 to 3 ripe
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 cup cranberries
1 tablespoon earth balance butter
1 teaspoon organic vanilla

3/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

Combine ingredients in a bowl

Remington’s Spring Hair Accessories are Fashionable and Fun!

In my Easter basket, I received a Remington floral headband which I  love.  It is comfortable and pretty!  A floral band with a simple  flower attached is a girly statement look. I match it with a simple, plain dress and floral, flat shoes. Sometimes I let the headband hold  all of my hair back for a clean look and sometimes I just let the  headband rest on my head with my everyday style for a boho look.  I  love that I can wear it all day and not get a headache like with other  headbands.
