Nectar Never Looked so Good

The sweet smell of nectar can now be enjoyed in your body wash.  Winner of the Best of Beauty 2011 for Allure magazine, Thymes Agave Nectar Foaming Bath is surely the best bath wash I have ever used.

When I was a little girl I developed a sensitivity to certain kinds of body wash, bubble baths  and even body lotions.  It seemed that no matter what I used I would breakout in rashes all over my body.  My mom had to buy me all these none fragrance products and I hated it.  Even to this day I have to be careful of what I use.  When I first used the Thymes Agave Nectar, I was afraid of what would happen.  After a couple tries I noticed that my skin was soft and supple and there was no sign of a rash anywhere. I was sooooooo excited.

For anybody with sensitive skin, or who just likes the scent of agave nectar, ruby red grapefruit, tangy guava, and lemon blossoms, all blended into  one bottle,  give Thymes Agave Nectar Foaming Bath a try.  I’m sure you will not only  like it, but LOVE it.

Turn up the Volume

Many women notice that when they get older their hair tends to thin out and cause balding.  Balding is not only caused by age, it can be caused by having had cancer, constant pulling of the hair and even childbirth.  As a hairstylist I get asked the question “How can I make my hair grow”?  Even though I don’t have the answer for making hair grow naturally, I can make you look like your hair grew in.

Evolve Volumizer has made many women across the United States regain their confidence in their appearances.  Evolve comes in a large supply of colors and textures, to give you a customized look. Once your color and texture have been selected and ordered ,the certified stylist can place Evolve wherever it needs to be on the scalp and then start the process off applying it to your own hair. Once Evolve has been attached and put in place, the stylist then can pull your own hair through little holes on the piece to blend the hairpiece with your hair to make it look more natural. It is made with 100% human hair so once it’s in place, Evolve then can be washed and styled like you would everyday.

I always feel sorry for women who don’t have the hair they want, but now there is hope.  Check out www.evolvinghair.com and see for yourself just what Evolve Volumizer can do for you.

Ditch The Frizz, Love the Shine

One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to my hair is frizz. No doubt about that. I have natural curls and it seems no matter how much hairspray I put in it or any other hair product, it still looks like it came out of the 80s. It wasn’t until recently that I just wanted to give up on ever getting rid of my frizz. When I first used Brazillian Blowout’s Acai Smoothing Serum I couldn’t believe my eyes. While my hair was still wet and before I put any product in it such as hairspray or gel, I smoothed the smoothing serum through from roots to ends. Then I combed my hair with a wide toothed comb to make sure it was fully saturated.

Being a hairdresser, I wanted to test the product just by itself so I could see what it does. I let my hair dry natural, without any hairspray or gel and didn’t even diffuse my hair. After it dried I used the Brazillian Blowout shine mist to give it shine and it looked like I had spent alot of time doing my hair.

So if you have frizz and you can’t seem to get rid of try Brazillian Blowout’s finishing acai smoothing serum and shine mist and get rid of the frizz.

Does your Hair Rock????!!!!

While at the Premiere Orlando Beauty Show I got to meet famed hairstylist Michael O’Rourke. I watched him on stage and was fascinated with his energy and knowledge of this industry. While waiting to meet him I met his wife, Nicole, and some of his team members at his booth ‘Rock Your Hair”.

One of Michael’s team members, Stephanie, gave me the complete Michael O’Rourke Rock Your Hair treatment. Using the new “Bombshell Hair Powder” Stephanie took my hair from drab to fab. By just applying a little to the roots of my hair vamped it right up. I guess you could say I got “Micaheled”.

So if you want big, sassy, rock and roll hair, try Michael O’Rourke Rock Your Hair and get your own sexy big hair to day.

Hair: Its What To Wear

Ever since I got back from the Orlando Hair Show, I have had a new outlook on my whole career. I am more confident in how I do hair and how I address my clients sitting in my chair. I have noticed that my clients like my passion for what I do and that makes them want to come back and see me.

You know we all have people who inspire us. Someone we look up to who helps us realize just what it is we love to do. When I was at the show I got to meet my inspiration to become a hairdresser, Nick Arrojo. When I was in high school I always made it point to watch “What Not To Wear” on TLC. Next to “I Love Lucy” it was and is my favorite show. The best part about the whole makeover was seeing what hairstyle Nick would come up with. At the time I had no idea that hairdressing was what I really wanted to do but I did know that I loved fashion.

I was soooooo happy to meet Nick and tell him just what an inspiration he is to me. In high school I was interested in acting and singing. I loved being on stage and being seen my many people. At the show I saw Nick doing just that (minus the singing and acting). He was in front of people showing off his amazing skills and in his own way, he was “performing” for a big crowd of people. That is my dream, to be a platform artist.

After high school I was just like many other young adults. I had no idea what it was I wanted to do as a career. I jumped from thing to thing but could never settle on one particular career. It wasn’t until 6 months after I graduated did I know that the beauty industry was my calling. I always knew I was artistic but I knew I could not draw or paint. I decided to give hairdressing a try. While in beauty school I realized my love for hair. With the help of Nick Arrojo and my teachers hairdressing has become my passion and I would not give it up for the world. Thank you Nick Arrojo for being my inspiration.

My Awesome Trip to The Beauty Show in Orlando Fl

I just returned from the Preimere Orlando Beauty Show a few days ago and I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun I had. It was like Disney World for hairdressers. While I was there I met Nick Arrojo from TLC’S What Not To Wear and Michael O’Rourke of “Rock Your Hair By Michael O’Rourke”.

Even though I didn’t get to take many classes I still learned alot about my industry and rediscovered my love for doing hair. To hear more about my trip stay tuned throughout the month of June for all my Beauty Show Discoveries.
