A #NoFilter Interview With Actress, Model & Influencer Pamela Jean Noble

Pamela Jean Noble is best known for her roles on the BRAVO television series, Below Deck, the CMT series, Bachelorette Weekend, but along with her growing entertainment career, she has appeared on countless magazine covers and is one of the go-to social media influencers, where her fans admire every outfit and beauty choice she makes while appearing on countless red carpets in Hollywood.

It’s A Glam Thing sent me to sit down in LaLaLand with Pamela to find out more about her style, top trends, filter choices (if any?), beauty product brands and more…

NICK NORTHSTAR: How would you describe your own personal style – both while relaxing at home and while working it for the cameras and on the red carpet?

PAMELA JEAN NOBLE: Relaxing at home I am always super casual. Yoga pants, sports bras, tank tops are my normal go to’s. I have animals and I love to garden so it’s the easiest option for both those things. For red carpets and shoots, I like to be glamorous and sexy but always classy. Dresses are normally my options, but I love to switch it up and surprise people. At the end of the day, comfy clothes always take the win and are my “go-to”.

NN: What are some of your favorite beauty products that you use to get red-carpet and photo-shoot ready?

PJN: Oh my goodness, I have so many! All my skin care/skin prep is Drunk Elephant! I absolutely love their brand and products; it has cleared my skin up so much! For makeup I use Clinique, Tarte, Benefit, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Huda Beauty. My hair I use HairDreams products to prep my hair and usually curl with my DryBar wand.

NN: Who are some of your favorite fashion designers?

PJN: I am all about cruelty free brands so whatever brands are not tested on animals, and not made from animals, like fur, leather, etc., I am willing to consider! I just got some cute bags from misguided that look like leather but aren’t. So, in that case a designer label doesn’t matter to me, it’s just the right thing to do.

NN: What is your favorite Instagram (@pamelajeannoble) filter? Or #NoFilter?

PJB: I prefer No Filter and I usually use brightness and saturation features. I always appreciate hearing at any event, that I “actually look like my photos”. Everyone is gorgeous and should be proud of how they look and not feel the need to photoshop or use filters for a confidence boost, let alone alter their image just for more “likes”, so I guess #BeYourself

NN: How important is social media these days in building your brand as a model and influencer?

PJN: I think it is so important. I see castings all the time that ask for Facebook or Instagram handles or how many followers do you have? They want to know you can promote their brand- it makes sense to me. However, with all the algorithm changes [on Facebook and Instagram] I liked it more when the platforms were just about connecting people and not about filtering content and forcing people to advertise.

NN: What Top 3 Fashion Trends do you LOVE right now?

PJN: I love the hair barrette accessory trend. I use Kitsch all the time! Also, shruken bags and blazers.

NN: What Top 3 Fashion Trends do you HATE right now?

PJN: I am not into all the see-through tops with no bras, boiler suits, and bucket hats.

NN: What changes in the modeling industry would you like to see changed moving forward?

PJN: I love that the industry is finally using all colors, sizes, and heights but we still have so much further to go. There are still so many brands that have not wavered from the 6 ft tall size 0 girls. I am 5’7” and I know girls shorter, taller, bigger and smaller than me, and we are all beautiful. Fashion needs to get with the people and times.

NN: What is your advice to anyone wanting to get into the modeling and entertainment industries?

PJN: Walk quietly with a big stick. Too many people in Hollywood “know this person and that person”, literally list or drop names about who they have worked with aka their resumes or feel the need to flash what they have (money, jewelry, etc.). My advice would be to work hard and let your work or resume speak for itself. There have been people I have known for years that are still finding out things I work on because I may post about it, but I don’t just sit around talking about it. I’d rather be known for being humble than everyone knowing everything I’ve ever worked on.

NN: What is your definition of “Hollywood Glam”?

PJN: I think it’s a little bit of everything: hair, makeup, skin, outfit, heels, and accessories. Sometimes it can be simple and make a huge statement and other times a gown is needed. Every event is different, and you have to adapt “your look” to the event.

NN: What project and/or campaigns do you have coming up this year?

PJN: I have so many magazine releases coming out! Also, my nonprofit Noble Critters launches later this month and I have been working on that for a very long time! I am so proud that I can use my platform to give back to some amazing animal sanctuaries.

Celebrate World Vegetarian Day (October 1) With Farm-to-Skin Vegan CBD Beauty

“Therapy Designed by Nature”

Topically Applied Farm-to-Skin CBD
Featuring the Brand’s Award-Winning Products

CBD Essentials was founded by CBD industry expert and advocate Aryn Sieber, who consults with physicians and patients nationwide on the responsible use and medicinal benefits of cannabis. Sieber became a sought-after professional leader in the industry after using cannabis during his own battle with Stage IV cancer. CBD Essentials topically applied products are lab-formulated, third-party tested, and batch numbered to ensure quality and consistency. All CBD Essentials products feature Sieber’s award-winning flower and meet the federal requirements of the 2018 Farm Bill, which mandates that all CBD-infused products are derived from dried Cannabis Sativa L. plant material that contain less than 0.3 percent THC to be legal in the United States.

Real-world testing has shown CBD to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and to act as an antibacterial, antitumoral and antimicrobial. Studies also have shown that CBD can balance oil production in the skin. Furthermore, because the human body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) is critically responsible for the life cycle of basal skin cells, some treatments encourage the ECS with topically applied CBD in an effort to help regulate the production of healthy skin. (It is important to note that therapeutic statements for CBD products are not yet evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.)

CBD is non-psychoactive. Cannabinoids are chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant that act on cannabinoid receptors in cells in the human body that alter neurotransmitter release in the brain. Ligands or bonding molecules for these receptor proteins include endocannabinoids which are naturally produced in the body. Terpenes refer to a class of compounds found in nearly every plant species including cannabis. They have been shown to influence many biological activities—including reduction of inflammation, reduced sensitivity to pain, and reduced anxiety. Terpenes and cannabinoids share a common biochemical precursor, giving them the ability to bind with different biological substances in the body, including receptors and enzymes.

CBD Essentials Body + Massage Oil—This product features organic coconut oil infused with premium CBD to reduce discomfort associated with muscle and joint inflammation. This non-greasy topically applied product helps to rejuvenate tired muscles and aching joints, enhancing recovery and relieving pain. It was formulated to be used for therapeutic and oncology massages, and has been shown help reduce inflammation associated with arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendonitis and psoriasis in hundreds of real-world test cases. Designed for all skin types, the CBD Essentials Body + Massage Oil also can improve dry skin, deeply hydrating for maximum benefit and long-lasting protection. CBD Essentials Body + Massage Oil is available in Green Tea Cucumber, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lavender and Natural in sizes 1 oz. at a retail price of $29; and 4 oz. spray at a retail price of $90.

CBD Essentials Massage Roll-On—This product features the same formulation of CBD Essentials Body + Massage Oil, in the convenience of a roll-on applicator. CBD Essentials Massage Roll-On is available in Green Tea Cucumber, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Lavender and Natural in sizes 0.3 oz. at a retail price of $12; and 3 oz. at a retail price of $70.

CBD Essentials products are available at CannasseurBrands.com and select spas, wellness centers and specialty retail outlets nationwide.

5 Amazing Benefits of CBD Coffee

Before we jump into the benefits, let’s start by explaining what exactly CBD coffee is. Well, as many of you may know, CBD or cannabidiol is a compound that comes from the cannabis plant. It’s the very compound that carries therapeutic effects unlike THC (that causes high and makes cannabis illegal). CBD has the potential to promote relaxation and ‘feel-good’ sensation.

While some like to incorporate cannabidiol in forms like oils and lotions for better health, many enthusiasts are advocating the idea of infusing CBD with coffee beans/grains. So, in a way, it’s exactly what it sounds like – coffee combined with CBD. The idea is to harness the potential of cannabis minus the possible intoxication. Just so you know – CBD coffee is legal and safe for consumption.

Why Drink CBD Coffee?

Most of us know an awful lot about the digestive system, skeletal system, and nervous system.  But, not many of us know about our body’s endocannabinoid system. It’s made up of cellular receptors that are supposed to respond to certain molecules called cannabinoids. Upon consuming certain cannabinoids like CBD or cannabidiol, your body’s endocannabinoid system tends to elicit a range of health benefits such as –

  1.   An improved sense of calmness and relaxation – One of the prominent aspects of CBD that everyone should know is its potential to induce calmness and relaxation. Check out this study that sheds light on this aspect. We also know that most Americans find it hard to function without a cup of Joe first thing in the morning. While on the one hand, it can fuel you up for the day, it can also contribute to the jitters and the anxiety and a racing heart. A large chunk of the American population is already stressed out. Drinking coffee is like adding fuel to the fire.

Adding CBD to coffee tends to balance things out. In simpler words, you get to enjoy the energetic effects of coffee minus the jittery and nervous sensation it accompanies; thanks to the relaxing properties of cannabidiol.

  1. A Natural Mood Booster – CBD can naturally put you in a happy mood. Many online sources and studies mention this aspect of cannabidiol. As per a published study in the Journal of Neuropharmacology, CBD tends to improve the production of serotonin which is a neurotransmitter that induces ‘feel good’ sensation. This is one of the additional reasons why you would want to perk up your morning coffee and make it a whole lot interesting by adding CBD.

  1. A natural source of antioxidants – Antioxidants are supposed to fight free radicals, slow down the pace of aging, and work against myriad physical ailments. We know coffee is already a rich source of antioxidants. But, what’s interesting is that so is cannabidiol which is icing on the cake. And, while there may not be any solid evidence;  by combining the power of these antioxidants coming from coffee and CBD, your body may be better able at keeping health conditions lie Alzheimer’s and cancer at bay.

  1. Could help Manage Certain Symptoms of anxiety – The most powerful tool in the marketing arsenal that popularized CBD as the good kind of cannabidiol is its potential to promote relaxation. This inevitably links to managing certain signs of anxiety and restlessness. When combined with the energetic effects of coffee, CBD coffee could work wonders in elevating mood and combating anxiety to a certain degree. Check out this study link which talks about CBD’s potential to manage anxiety.

  1.   May Help Regulate Sleep Patterns – It is not uncommon for many to turn to CBD as a way to naturally fall asleep and manage certain sleeping issues. And, while CBD may not be a medicine, it could help an occasional user fall asleep more easily and naturally. People who suffer from insomnia or some other similar sleeping condition might experience some relief from drinking CBD infused coffee.

The Synergistic Effect – How Coffee and CBD Work Together

We already mentioned this once or twice earlier. But, let’s reaffirm it one more time – If you break down cannabidiol, you will see that its true essence lies in relaxing you. Coffee, on the other hand, is supposed to energize you. It’s sort of a bipolar thing. When you mix these two, you tend to experience a sort of ‘push-pull’ effect, if you will.

It’s natural to think that the two will cancel each other out. But, in actuality, they tend to balance each other. To that end, you might feel calmer without sacrificing the much-needed energy you need to function and get through the day. Caffeine and CBD, in this sense, go together nicely. You get to enjoy a well-rounded experience that is far better than consuming caffeine or cannabidiol in isolation.

How To Include CBD In Your Cup Of Joe

Although CBD coffee is no novel concept and you should easily find a CBD infused cup of coffee at a local coffee shop, most people like to brew a cup all by themselves. To that end, it may be easier for a lot of people depending on their locale to buy CBD tinctures or oil and add it to their regular coffee mug. You can also buy CBD coffee from offline/online vendor. IHF LLC CBD coffee is a great place to start.

A quick word of caution – Always start with small doses of CBD (preferably as little as 5 mg). Different users may experience a different range of effects with CBD. This may require a little experimentation in terms of dosage until you stumble upon that ‘sweet spot’ that works for you.

Final Thoughts

The quality of CBD whether it’s in the form of oil or tincture plays a huge role in determining the quality/range of effects you may experience from drinking CBD coffee. A low-grade product may make you believe the concoction doesn’t work. Only buy premium CBD oil and CBD coffee to perk up your favorite morning beverage.
