What things do you need to be able to tell your stylist about your hair history?
“Everything! Colorists can only achieve a result when they know what the are dealing with, especially things like chemical straighteners and previous lightening and darkening”. Kate advises to go back as long as your whole hair history so your stylist is aware of everything they need to know.”
What things should a reputable stylist already know?
“All professionals should know how to achieve the look, how long it will last, maintenance and ongoing limitations from moving forward with the service”. Kate suggests taking pictures with you to the salon so it’s easier to show your colourist what you like and don’t like.
How do you maintain your new color at home?
Kate suggests using the COLOURING.ANGELS treatments for at home care. They’re deep conditioners that add a glossy sheen to your hair. Each treatment is meant for a different tone: Autumn for apricot or rose color, Sugared for creamy beige color, Cool for ashy color, and Crystal for all colors.
