Make sure you have a nice tip on your eyeliner but not overly sharp where when you press the point may fall apart or drag your eye lids. Pencil Me In Cosmetics eyeliner comes with a built-in sharpener.
Make sure the pencil tip is at the right temperature. Oftentimes eyeliner pencils can be too cold to first apply. You can cup the eyeliner point in the palm of your hands to get it warmer and soften or even use your blow dryer real quick and at an arms length distance to not destroy the eyeliner but to warm it. Cold eyeliner is hard to apply. When eyeliner is the perfect temperate it goes on perfectly smooth.
