If Shaving is a Project, Try Project Fig

As most of us know, shaving can be an uncomfortable process, especially for those who have sensitive skin. I have found a wonderful shaving product that I want to share with you called Project FigAs stated by Project Fig, “Whether you shave or wax, our goal is to provide you with the right education and products for beautiful, healthy skin and longer lasting smoothness. We recognize that skincare for your intimate area should be approached very much like skincare for your face. With this in mind, we have created the FIG Zones: four intimate grooming areas, each with their own specific skincare needs.” You will find all the information you need to know about the 4 fig zones at  http://www.projectfig.com/pages/fig-101.  Project Fig’s goal is to eliminate razor burn, irritation, ingrown hair, itchy regrowth and harsh chemicals.

Project Fig was created by Sue Madigan and through her own frustrations with shaving, developed this extremely effective product. You can read Sue’s personal story at  http://www.projectfig.com/pages/about-us

I thought I would start out by trying Project Fig Shave Gel and loved it at first touch. It is a silky smooth shave gel that is designed to soften and lift hair for the closest, smoothest, least irritating shave possible.  Project Fig Shave Gel contains Sodium N-Cocoyl-L-Glutamate, a mild amino acid based cleansing and foaming agent. This shave gel will improve your skin and hair softness, while helping to maintain healthy pH levels in sensitive areas.

Following Project Fig Shave Gel, it is important to apply Project Fig Soothing Serum to the newly shaved skin. This  Soothing Serum contains natural ingredients like papaya extract and willow bark which help ease irritation and will help prevent ingrown hair.

Project Fig’s Exfoliater is the third key for achieving maximun shaving results. This Exfoliater eliminates dead sin cells and keeps pores clean, which helps prevent ingrown hairs caused from shaving or waxing. Project Fig Efoliater is gentle enough to use on your entire body. Project Fig recommends using the Exfoliater a day before your intimate grooming.

Project Fig’s Hair inhibitor is the last key to shaving perfection. The Hair Inhibitor is important because its goal is to give you finer, sparser-looking regrowth while leaving your intimate shaved areas feeling smoother, longer. The key ingredients in the Hair Inhibitor is Capislow and IBR-Dormin which, as stated by Project Fig is “clinically proven to slow two distinct phases of hair regrowth”.

A great way to try all 4 Project Fig Shaving products is to purchase the Weekender Kit. It not only is the perfect kit to take with you on weekend getaways, but it contains all four products in convenient travel sizes.

The Weekender kit includes:  Shave Gel 2 fl oz., Soothing Serum .5 fl oz., Hair Inhibitor .5 fl oz.,  and  Exfoliant 2 fl oz.

Project Fig Shave Gel, Smoothing Serum, Hair Inhibitor and Exfoliant are premium natural, facial-quality, and pH balanced products.  They are also cruelty and vegan free and do not contain colorants, fragrances, parabens, phthalates, or gluten.
