Get The Look of the Stars

At this past weekend’s Billboard Awards, stars kept their hairstyles clean and off the face. Here is one of our top choices, along with a step-by-step from UNITE Hair on how to recreate this style at home:

Attack the Frizz and Bring Back the FAT CURLS

When I read “DEFY THE FRIZZ” on a  Fat Curls Hair Care product, I thought to myself, “Could this be true?” Will I really find the curls underneath the frizz? I must admit, I have had an easy time with my hair this winter and did not have to deal with too much frizz. Now that the warm weather is upon us, that means rainy, hot and humid days and FRIZZ, FRIZZ and more FRIZZ! Fat Curls has a product line that will attack the frizz and bring back the curls. I have found two hair products in the Fat Curls line that is doing a beautiful job tackling my frizz. Fat Curls Defining Gel and Fat Curls Reactivating Spray.

Fat Curls Defining Gel is working quite well for me. I have dry, color treated hair and Fat Curls Defining Gel has definitely helped with bringing my curls back to life. After washing my hair, I apply a small amount of the gel on my damp hair and scrunch it in and I let my hair air dry, you can blow dry too,  the results are amazing!  This lightweight curl gel will restore and condition your curls from roots to ends. My hair is left with soft, shiny curls, I love it!

Fat Curls states that their  Defining Gel contains “Macadamia Seed Oil and Taurine to restore moisture, repair damaged hair and protect curls against heat damage. Another of my favorites from  Fat Curls  is the Reactivating Spray. There are days when I need to touchup my hair and liven up my curls and Fat Curls Reactivating Spray does just that. I like it because It doesn’t create build-up and my hair isn’t sticky at the end of the day.

Fat Curls Reactivating Spray also contains Macadamia Seed Oil and Taurine helping  to restore moisture, repair damaged hair and protect curls against heat damage. This spray contains keratin protein as well to help strengthen hair fiber. Rossum’s makeup artist–Jake Bailey – shows how to get her 60’s-inspired look: “We wanted to create a mod look, but bring it into this millennium with really clean, glowing skin and a dramatic eye,” says Bailey.

 To Get The Look:
