Get “Closer” With Halle Berry


It’s a new scent of attraction, Closer by Halle Berry. This alluring fragrance was made to provoke an attraction between men and women. This fragrance smells totally different after being sprayed onto your skin then it does in the bottle. When I sprayed Closer, onto my wrist, it smelled like a bouquet of sweet flowers was born. Halle Berry’s Closer has a rich warm note of mahogany wood, vanilla bean, cashmere musk, violet flowers, ceder wood, wild raspberry and water lily to name a few. This is a very soft perfume with purpose! Halle Berry’s Closer made me feel classy and ready for date night with the boyfriend!

Faith Hill Soul2Soul is a Fragrance Worth Giving

As an early holiday gift, my mother got me Faith Hill’s “Soul 2 Soul” perfume. It’s definitely going to be one of my favorite gifts this year. I fell in love with the fruity floral smell and wear it every day. At their website, http://faithandtimfragrances.com/soul2soul-faith-hill, I found that the fragrance  “opens with sparkling fruits that lead to a passionate floral bouquet found at the heart of the fragrance while the bottom notes leave a soft and intoxicating scent“.

I don’t like perfumes that are too strong, but still want them to last all day. Faith Hills’d “Soul2Soul” Perfume fits that requirement perfectly. Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul’s perfume bottle is quite elegant with its gold and pearl white tones. It has also made my Christmas shopping really easy this year. I bought all my friends Faith Hill’s “Soul 2 Soul” Perfume. During my shopping I was able to sample Tim McGraw’s “Soul 2 Soul.” Needless to say, I was able to complete my Christmas shopping for every boy and girl I needed to shop for this year.

Life is good when it comes from Bath & Body Works

Bath and Body Works is an all time favorite when it comes to scents and last minute gift ideas. One person I know of who loves Bath and Body Works and loves using it as gifts is my mom. Here’s what she has to say about her love for Bath and Body.

When Bath & Body named their deep cleansing liquid hand soap “Fresh Picked Pear” and “Fresh Picked Tangerine”, they named them well. It takes only a few drops to give you that really clean feel and fresh fragrance that actually stays with you. I’ve used these two “Fresh Picked” liquid soaps for the past few days and what really surprised me was that how they really smelled like fresh fruit and how long the fragrance stayed with me long after washing my hands.

Long after washing my hands the other day, I kept getting a “wiff” of the pear scent. I had forgotten about using the liquid soap earlier so I couldn’t figure where the fresh fruit smell was coming from. It took me a couple of minutes before I realized that it was my hands that were carrying the scent. It made me smile to realize that it was actually me that smelled like fresh picked pears.

I love Bath & Body Works! Always new fragrances and products to try and a great place to purchase gifts for everyone. I always keep several liquid soaps on hand for that unexpected time when I just need to tell someone that I appreciate them. They are great gifts and always appreciated.

Is it love? No it’s EvaAmour

I can remember when I was younger my mom having what she called her “signature scent”. Every morning after her shower she splashed herself with it smelling up her whole bathroom. I remember asking her why it was her “signature scent”, and she it is a scent that she always wore that made her feel good about herself. That does not mean that she didn’t wear other scents, it was just her favorite out of all of them.

Now here I am 21 years old and I now realize why my mom had that love for her one favorite perfume. After all my fragrance experiences I have finally found that one fragrance that not only smells delicious but makes me feel like a sexy sassy little redhead. The Plaza Beauty and Lampeberger

One of my favorite places to go in the city to keep up with what is going on in the international world of beauty, accessories, and fragrance,  no doubt about it, has to be The Plaza Beauty.  Yes at THE Plaza.  I loved working on the Eloise movies because it meant I got to hang out at the Plaza.  It is a magical pace with its history and its cinematic presence.  I must admit, that I find the Plaza Beauty on the Grand Concourse level to have a magical quality as well.  It is relatively new, (2008) and is constantly expanding to keep up with their world-wide clientele’s tastes, and demands. 

Their buyers scour the world to bring you the best in beauty, accessories, jewelry and fragrance.  I find products there that I would never find anywhere else.  Their top notch staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable.  They constantly add new items to their line, and most of these products are exclusive to The Plaza.  They are working on an online shop, and I am sure that their customers will be grateful when it is up and running!  

And surprise, surprise……………they aren’t expensive!  A great place to go to find special items and gifts for holidays, occasions, events or as a thank you . 

An item that I happened to see there last night that I loved was Lampeberger Paris Easy Scent System that is being launched today at The Hampton International Film Festival.  I am a big fan of aromatherapy, and I find there are psychological and physical reactions triggered by certain aromas.  I have found that certain fragrances are helpful in relaxation, and sleep as well as fragrances that are invigorating, energizing and stimulating. I find fragrance can affect my mood and help give a sense of complete well being.  They can help me to sleep, and make me more creative.   I surround myself with them whenever possible.
