If you are wondering whether or not age spot treatments work, I can tell you with certainty that Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum definitely does work! My husband was my tester on this product. He has had a dark spot on his face for quite some time. Although he never minded it being there, he was definitely open to the possiblilty of lightening it. Get Your Hair Ready and Set with REDKEN!

I recently received some Redken hair products for review and I couldn’t be happier because Redkin is one of my favorite hair care products. Redken Satinwear 02 Prepping Blow Dry Lotion actually left a “satiny” feel to my hair  after using it.  I have thought, at times, that the constant blow drying of my hair may not be good for it and have blamed the occasional coarseness I’ve felt on the drying process.  I normally have a soft, baby fine hair so when it feels coarse, it feels strange to me.  This product is easy to use and I didn’t have to use a lot to notice a big difference in the look and feel of my hair.  It was easy and fun to apply as with a few swipes it spread smoothly through my damp hair.    I proceeded to blow dry my hair in the usual way and found that it had a soft, non frizzy, smooth finish when I was done.  Styling was a cinch since It was more manageable with the feel of more body.  I like the way it applies, looks and feels.  Nice smell and it dries fast!  Good product!

Pumpkins are more than just for carving on Halloween, they’re rich in vitamins and nutrients and can do wonders for the skin! Celebrity beauty guru, Skyy Hadley, shares some ways to incorporate pumpkins into your beauty routine this fall.

DIY Face Mask
Pumpkins are rich in Vitamins A and C and contain various enzymes that help nourish and brighten the skin making them perfect to use in facials. Below is an easy recipe to create your own pumpkin face mask at home.
*Mix one can of pureed pumpkin in a bowl
*Stir in a cup of plain yogurt, 4-5 tablespoons of honey and a 1/4 teaspoon olive oil
*Wash face and while face is still moist apply the mask using your fingers in an upward motion
*Let sit for no more than 10 minutes and remove with warm water and washcloth
*There will be leftover mask so seal it in a closed Tupperware container or have a girls’ spa night!

Blemish Treatment
Pumpkin contains the acne fighting vitamins E and T (aka Torulitine) and can aid in reducing pore size and preventing the appearance of pimples, blackheads and blemishes. Cut open a fresh pumpkin and slice it you would a cantaloupe. Rub the fleshy side against your face after cleansing twice a day for healthier looking skin.

Moisturizer
Natural enzymes found in pumpkins are great for hydrating, soothing and softening dry, cracked hands and feet. Keep the fleshy/stringy pumpkin parts you pull out when carving and work a small amount into your hands (as if you’re washing your hands) and rinse with warm water. Your hands will instantly be smooth and soft.
*TIP: Mix 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree in a small bowl with 2 tablespoons of Vaseline and apply to extra dry heels and cover with socks overnight for an ultimate moisturizing treatment.
