Top Hollywood Couples- Divorces among Hollywood Celebrities

Madonna_GuyRitchie_CustodyBattle

The stories of famous couples splitting up often flood the media and divorces continue to be a common occurrence in Hollywood. Different couples end their marriages for different reasons. Anytime a relationship comes to an abrupt end, the situation is sensitive regardless of how well known the individuals are.

In the midst of conflict, blaming each other and grieving the demise of the marriage, divorcing couples have to interact constantly as they negotiate the terms of their divorce. Divorce has an extensive effect on the couple, their children, relatives and fans around the world.

Hollywood Divorces- Empathy and Entertainment

When the media provides news about famous divorcing couples, people everywhere monitor the situation closely. Attention-grabbing headlines such as ‘Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise call it quits’ are bound to elicit reactions, especially when people have been watching a celebrity romance unfold. Most celebrities are used to the fact that they will no longer enjoy privacy.

A high-profile divorce gives fans and critics the chance to share the opinions about the relationship and why it may be ending. While marriage may essentially be between two individuals, ongoing media coverage of a celebrity union ensures that other people are able to get access to their private issues. Hollywood divorces continue to be popular topics that are regarded as entertaining.

Public Scrutiny

The exposure of celebrity couples typically begins through both intentional and unintentional public displays of affection that are captured by the media. The intricacies of the relationship are shared widely and when the couple starts a family, members of the public feel like they are involved.

When the couple starts experiencing relationship problems, issues such as infidelity, drugs and egos arise. The pair eventually breaks up and the public anxiously waits to see if they will move on to new relationships or possibly reconcile. Visit www.liasesolutions.com/oakland for more.

Top Hollywood Divorces

Various top Hollywood couples have gotten divorced over the years and these include:

  • Mel and Robyn Gibson
  • Michael and Juanita Jordan
  • Steven Spielberg and Amy Irving
  • Kenny and Marianne Rogers
  • Michael and Diandra Douglas
  • Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise
  • Donald and Ivana Trump
  • Kevin Costner and Cindy Silva
  • Madonna and Guy Ritchie
  • Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

It is virtually impossible to keep up with numerous Hollywood divorces and there are various reasons why celebrities end up divorcing. These include jealousy, incompatible schedules and financial challenges.

Insecurities

Hollywood celebrities are likely to find themselves in situations that create insecurity and jealousy in their marriages. They also face a lot of tempting situations that occur both on and off camera. The media also plays a significant role in transforming harmless situations such as a hug between co-actors at a party into an intimate affair.

Time Apart

A Hollywood career usually involves a lot of travelling and spending time away from spouses and families. A marriage can become problematic if the spouses are constantly apart or consumed by the vibrant Hollywood lifestyle.

Battle of Egos

For most Hollywood celebrities, the attention from fans and media is quite an ego boost. A famous individual may begin to feel like he or she is extremely important and take their partner for granted. This is a common challenge among so-called new celebrities who are yet to get used to a life of fame and wealth.

Slather Yourself with Nubian Heritage’s Patchouli & Buriti Souffle

unnamed-7

There is nothing fun about recovering from knee surgery. Well, I can think of one thing that helps, the amazing gifts I have received from some very thoughtful family and friends. Before I slather myself with Nubian Heritage’s Patchouli & Buriti Souffle, I would like to tell you a little more about this amazing fragrant collection. I could smell the sweet aroma as soon as I opened the box.

I am loving Patchouli & Buriti Souffle and the Cleansing Soap Bar is equally enjoyable. The soap has a unique blend of Buriti Oil, moisturizing Shea Butter and Rose Hip Seed Oil blended providing a fragrant, soothing and hydrating bathing experience. I rubbed the soap bar into a loofah sponge and worked the soap into a rich lather which was quite enjoyable. I can only describe the scent as a vanilla cake batter with a pinch of chocolate. That is my take on it, but if you like sweet scents you will love this collection.

Nubian Heritage’s Patchouli & Buriti Souffle is formulated for all skin types including sensitive skin. As stated by Nubian Heritage, their “products are cruelty-free and without sulfates, parabens, phthalates, petroleum, DEA, artificial fragrance or synthetic coloring. The secret to Nubian Heritage is that they use proven traditional healing practices, cultural influence and indigenous ingredients including various oils, ash and more to create a solution for every beauty and skin type.”

I have used the souffle every day since receiving it and not only am I getting compliments on the scent, my daughter actually smelled the sweet aroma when she walked in the room. It’s the perfect remedy for dry skin, chapped hands or anywhere you need moisturizing.

You will find the Nubian Heritage collections at Ulta;  www.ulta.com/brand/nubian-heritage with products like cleansers, body washes, hand creams and skincare containing 100% Organic Shae butter. Nubian Heritage also has specific skincare designed for dry, problematic and sensitive skin.

Try Nubian Heritage’s  Coconut & Papaya Hand Cream containing organic shea butter for dry or chapped hands;  The Nubian Heritage’s Indian Hemp & Haitian Vetiver Body Cleansing Smoothie gives your whole body a blend of ultra-moisturizing Shea Oil & soothing Neem to enhance your skin’s appearance. Nubian Heritage’s Abyssinian & Chia Seed Collection is both vitamin rich and contains anti-aging properties that will leave your skin with a youthful glow.

The Final Five

olympics-team-j-800

I loved watching the Olympics. The U.S. women’s gymnastics team impressed me. I can’t imagine all the time, dedication and practice it takes to get to the Games, much less participate in them. The ladies of the team looked so happy doing what they love to do– and they did it well!

For me, the gymnastics competition was kind of like watching a football game where it comes down to the last minute to see who wins. Midway through their events, the U.S. team led by four points and then they came in first place outdistancing their biggest competition, Russia, by 8.209 points. This was a pretty big deal because it was the first time the U.S. women’s gymnastics team won back-to-back Olympic golds. They were #1 in 2012 and now they’re #1 again– that’s pretty amazing.

I also liked how the team chose a nickname, “The Final Five.” It reminded me of how you have to not only think of what you want your goal to be, in life, but also write it down, name it, tell others about it, etc. These ladies– Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian, Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, and Gabby Douglas– showed the world how young ladies can reach their dreams. They sure did inspire me, and I’m thinking there’s a whole generation of young women who look up to them, too.

xoxo, Lizzy
