Hair How To: Jennifer Garner’s Loose Waves

Hairstylist: Giannandrea, International Creative Director for Macadamia Professional

1.)    Prep wet hair for blow drying by applying a palm sized amount of Macadamia Professional Foaming Volumizer ($19.95) to the crown to add body and Macadamia Professional Blow Dry Lotion ($24) through the lengths to smooth and prevent heat damage.

2.)    Blow dry large sections with a 2” round brush to create volume. Section off three mid-sized sections at the crown and wrap with Velcro rollers. Let the rollers cool for 15 minutes.

3.)    While the rollers are cooling wrap a 1.25” curling iron around the remaining hair to create waves on all sides. Keep the ends straight.

4.)    Take the rollers out and gently tease the top of the crown. Create a middle part.

5.)    To add extra definition to curls, gently clamp a straightener on each curve of the hair. Hold for a few seconds, then move to the next bend you’d like to make look perfectly undone.

6.)    When you’re finished with the straightening, gently brush the hair while being careful to keep the volume. Smooth the front pieces to frame the face.

7.)    Spray Macadamia Professional Weightless Moisture Dry Oil Micro Mist ($31.95) to add shine without weighing down hair.

8.)    Finish with Macadamia Professional Flex Hold Shaping Hairspray ($19.95) for a light hold with natural movement.

Classic, Custom and Made in Australia

Since 1974 Burlee has been hand-making their Australian “UGG” boots, four years before other competitors. Within Australia and New Zealand, the term “ugg” has been a well-known generic description of a sheepskin boot. What sets Burlee apart is their use of A-grade Australian Sheepskin and the fact that new patterns are constantly being created by their in-house designer. Inspirations also come from their production, retail or office teams and even from their customers. These patterns are hand cut and a sample is made. The sample is tested internally for functionality and aesthetics. Any necessary changes are made and testing is repeated until a final sample is approved.

There are seven stages in the production. At every stage each boot will undergo Quality Control to ensure only the highest quality is delivered. The award show nominees staying at the Four Seasons Hotel this weekend will be receiving a certificate in their Hollywood Swag Bag for a pair of their choice of Burlee boots.
