If you have not encountered Ramuné then you are missing out. During the 1800’s, Commodore Perry introduced lemonade to Japan. The flavors of Ramuné started as lemon-based, but over time evolved to become its own unique taste. However, there was the pronunciation issue and the word lemonade became what we know as of today, Ramuné. Not only do they taste great, but they are fun too. Most people know Ramuné for its unique bottle, called the Codd-neck Bottle. The uniqueness comes from the marble inside the bottle. The carbonation from the soda pushes the marble upwards, pushing it against a rubber seal. This creates the airtight seal, allowing it to hold onto the bubbly goodness for a long time. Simply pop the marble in the bottle and enjoy. Ramuné is currently available in seven flavors with a new one on the way. Sangaria USA was founded in 1987 with a mission of sharing the rich Japanese culture by introducing Sangaria‘s beverage into the United States. As a celebrity favorite we are thrilled to include Ramune in our Hollywood Swag Bags being gifted to the nominees for the big red carpet event this month.
