Gorman, a local Los Angeles resident, received the exciting news via zoom making her the youngest poet to write and recite a piece at a presidential inauguration. The sky’s the limit for Gorman as she has recently announced her intention to run for president in 2036, the first election cycle in which she’ll be old enough to do so.
