Treat your hair to the very best with Conair Brushes

When your hair looks like this

IMG_1368

You really need this: a Conair Detangle Brush for wet or dry hair

Unknown

I can’t live without my  Conair Detangle Hair brush. As you can see, I have very curly hair. Att night, when I brush my hair out, I no longer have the feeling of my hair being ripped out of my head. The bristles on the Conair Detangler are so soft that it makes brushing my hair out easy and pain free. The bristles smooth over the tangles and curls and after a few strokes, the bristles brush right through my hair.

The Conair Detangle Hair brush is designed for use with wet or dry hair and it detangles wet hair so easily which is why I love this brush so much. I once read that it is not a good idea to comb or brush you hair out when wet because of breakage. I find that with my hair texture, I have to brush out when wet. I find that this brush has been nothing but gentle on my hair and there are no signs ogf breakage or split ends. As soon as I notice, I will let you know.

You can find this fabulous brush at drugstores and retailers nationwide or at conair.com

Natural or Glam…Either way Gerard Cosmetics has you Covered

browbartogo-btob

Check out my latest product review on Gerard Cosmetics. You will get to see me in my natural environment when I am flaunting, my natural Look. In my total comfort zone I’m wearing my brows (which I draw on) eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. So the following products are right up my alley.

Brow Bar on the Go is all a woman needs in a cute little package. It has two different shades and wax to set the color so your brows are not melting all over your face!!! The kit fits perfectly in your make-up bag and you don’t need to be in front of a mirror because the kit has a mirror on it…the name says it all, Brow Bar on the GO!!

Hydra Matte Aphrodite was a complete surprise; it’s a Matte Lipstick…that’s right lipstick. I am such a lip gloss girl, it is all I wear. I don’t think I am grown up enough for lipstick, you know what I mean? My lip gloss be popping all shiny and glossy…I feel so sassy with my lip gloss. However, Aphrodite is GREAT!!! It is so nude, natural and when it dried it still felt soft and supple. I have to admit this Hydra Matte Aphrodite Lipstick has turned me on to matte lipstick. I might have to grow up. Wait, before I can comment to being a complete grown up I will rock the Cocoa Bean Lip Gloss. The color is so luxurious, and shiny, just like I like it. I really can’t tell which I like best!!

Click on the video and see how I used all of these products and how they look on my skin tone. The great thing about Gerard Cosmetics is it can be impressive on any skin tone, you can use it to do a natural look or you can rock a total glam look, it’s all up to you!

My Daughter is heading Back to school with José Eber

IMG_1370

My daughter is heading back to school with Jose Eber! Well, not exactly with José Eber but with his  Protégé 19mm Clipless Curling Iron.  Jose Eber has designed a clipless curling iron that works to perfection. This amazing curling iron from Jose Eber’s Pro Series creates any type of curl you desire. It’s so easy to use and with the heat resistant glove (included) you will never burn your fingers.  Simply wrap a piece of hair around the barrel starting at the base toward the tip and hold for a few seconds. You will see how easy it is to create stunning curls. My daughter recently created a hairstyle using the clipless curling iron and she loved it. You will never have a creased edge again with this clipless curling iron.

The José Eber Protégé 19mm Clipless Curling Iron has some fabulous features: an Advanced Coted non-stick barrel; Heats up quickly, 3 to 5 minutes; Negative ion technology; it has even heat 100-240V Dual Voltage; and of course every curler needs a 360 tangle free swivel cord. You can purchase your own José Eber Protégé 19mm Clipless Curling Iron at joseeberhair.com

What is especially nice about Jose Eber’s curling iron is that the non-stick barrel allows you to use your favorite hair styling product without worrying about your hair sticking to it. Topganic Liquid and Sculpting Styling Lotion is the perfect choice, one that my daughter really liked. First of all, it smells amazing. Using styling lotion when applying heat to your hair is definitely something to consider. The Obliphica and Jojoba oils it contains provides all the moisture you need to maintain healthy hair after heat styling.

Topganic Liquid and Sculpting Styling Lotion is so easy to use. Massage a quarter size amount of the styling lotion into you damp hair (no need to rinse out) and get ready for an amazing hairstyle with volume, bounce and shine.

Topganic Liquid and Sculpting Styling Lotion is perfect for all hair types including color treated hair and those with sensitive scalps. Your hair will never feel greasy after use. My daughter said her hair felt soft, shiny and pliable. Her curls held up all day and she was thrilled about it. Topganic Liquid and Sculpting Styling Lotion does not perform Animal Testing, and is free of Parabens and Sulfates, which is a big plus.

The key ingredients include Aloe, Antioxidants, Borage Oil, Chamomile, Dead Sea Minerals, Fragrance, Ginseng, Glycerin, Green Tea, Jojoba Oil, Natural Oils, Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E. You can learn more about Topganic hair products at topganic.com.

Skyy Hadley shares her tips on how to maintain lash extensions

unnamed

Say good bye to raccoon eyes and hello to less time spent in front of the mirror. Celebrity beauty guru and owner of As U Wish Nail Spa Skyy Hadley, shares her tips on the different kinds of lashes to get, how to maintain them, and how to prep your natural lashes for the best application.

“Depending on your career, the events you’re attending on a monthly basis, or just your general lifestyle, there are different lengths and thickness levels of the lashes you can get. If you want a more stand out look because you have a special event, go for it! If you want a more toned down natural look, we can do that too,” says Skyy Hadley. “These lashes stay on for 60-90 days, that’s 2 months! It all depends on how you take care of them and the rate your natural lash falls out since the extension is applied directly onto the natural lash.”

“Lash Extensions are easy to maintain. The first twenty-four hours before application are crucial for a strong bond. You should clean your original lashes with oil-fee makeup remover, keep your lashes dry, free of mascara and avoid touching them. Avoid swimming, the Spa and oil based products after the lashes have been applied for up to 48 hours. Care is fairly simple after that. Cleanse your lashes regularly and be gentle. Your lashes are resistant to water, sweat and tears.
