Celebrity hairstylist, Castillo styled Real Housewife Erika Jayne for the Billboard Awards red carpet.

I was checking out Castillo’s Instagram page HERE and saw a photo of his work with Erika.

I was able to get my hands on this step-by step for her hair look and a quote from Castillo.

Step By Step:

• On clean hair, start by making loose waves in the hair using the Cricket Co.’s Ultra Smooth Curling Iron.
• Once the curls have cooled down take the Cricket Co.’s Centrix Ceramic Styling Iron and run it through some of the curls from mid shaft to end to loosen the waves and add some major sexy slept in waves.
• Comb through all the waves using the wide tooth Cricket Co.’s Ultra Smooth Coconut Oil infused comb to avoid frizz, but create volume.
• Then take a teasing brush like Cricket Co.’s Amped Up brush and back comb the entire head at the root.
• Part the hair in half by taking a large section starting from the back of one ear across the top of the head ending on the opposite ear using a tail comb like the Cricket Co. Silkomb.
• Create a small ponytail on the top of your head using an elastic.
• Finally, detail the look by pulling out some face-framing pieces and seal with a bit of styling wax on the ends.
