Bored With Your Hair? Reload Your Locks!

Wikimedia

Sometimes the occasion doesn’t matter, we can feel bored with ourselves, whether we’re on a road trip, going on vacation with friends, or just heading back home for a long weekend. If we feel that we are not making the effort to stand out or shake up our style, we can feel that we have let ourselves down somewhat. But the fact of the matter is that it’s a bit of a struggle to play around with our style. But there’s one thing we can do and transform our entire look; alter our hair. Do you find yourself getting bored with your hair? It’s safe to say that we all do. And if you found the perfect clothing that conveys the style, but you feel that you get bored with your hair way too often, let’s provide you with a few simple suggestions…

Change Your Product

Sometimes it’s a simple as this. If we use the same product for a long time, it gets to the point where our hair almost puts up some form of resistance to the product. And sometimes it’s not just about the hair products we use in our hair, but it’s those that we used to style our hair. Something as simple as a styling hair dryer concentrator can work to dry the hair, but also style it in different ways. This way, you’ve got an abundance of options at your disposal, but without all of the effort! When we are bored with our hair, it takes a lot of time to try and find the perfect style, changing your product may provide such a little alteration to your style, that this may be all that you need to feel rejuvenated in your locks.

To Fringe Or Not To Fringe?

This can make all the difference. If you’re looking to supercharge your look, you can go for a side fringe, or just go for the full-on straight style. If you wear your hair back, adding a fringe does so much to alter the composition of your face that it’s worth giving it a go. Although you may not be keen on a fringe for various reasons, if it’s been a few years since you’ve tried it, and you weren’t impressed with the results before, at the very least, give it a go. It’s worth shaking up our style every couple of years, and by adding a fringe, it can make all the difference.

Try Some Do-It-Yourself Tutorials

The fact of the matter is, there are so many Instagram influencers out there that provide hair tutorials, whether you want a fishtail braid or you fancy trying a bun, or you just want something a little bit messier, there are numerous resources out there to stop you getting bored with your hair! It’s worth taking the time to find some do-it-yourself tutorials, not just so you save yourself a lot of money, but you can actually take the time to find the right style for you. Sometimes we don’t deviate from the norm because we shouldn’t rock the boat. After all, we’ve got one style, and it suits us, why should we change it? But if you get bored with your hair, it’s your right to mix it up!

What’s The Best Bang For Your Look?

Bangs are everywhere this spring. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if you had bangs but are too afraid to commit?

Kattia Solano, owner of NYC’s Butterfly Studio Salon offers clients complimentary bang consultations at the salon’s bang bar, which was recently featured in New York Magazine’s Best of NY issue.

Clients who visit the bang bar will meet with a stylist, try on a few different clip-on bang styles and find the one that works for them. They can either have the stylist cut their actual bangs to resemble the chosen clip-on piece or simply purchase the noncommittal bang piece ($30) and the stylist will style their hair with the bangs clipped in (blowouts start at $68)http://butterflystudiosalon.com/
