This blog is for all those woman out there who have, at often times, used a man’s cologne over a woman’s perfume. Some people may think it’s crazy but when you really think about it, it’s not all that weird. I can remember in high school girls would rather use a man’s cologne, and even deodorant, over their own. When I asked why many of them said, “I feel like it shield’s the stink better than my own”. As I got older it started making sense. Nowadays I will actually use a man’s cologne over my own fragrance depending on the time of year. Here in Florida you seem to feel like your always sweating because of all this humidity in the air.

When I met American Crew at Premiere Orlando they introduced me to their newest fragrance called “Nine: A Fragrance for Men”. The minute I sprayed it I fell in love with it. Now I will give you a woman’s point of view on the fragrance and why not only would I love to smell it on a man but also would like to wear it from time to time. When I wear NINE I don’t feel like I am wearing a man’s cologne and also people have asked me what I am wearing they can’t believe it’s a men’s fragrance. Of course all fragrance’s smell different on everybody. When I wear NINE it almost smells like the ocean. Very clen, refreshing and even very relaxing. If it relaxes me when I wear it I can’t even imagine how I would feel if a man was wearing it. American Crew Booth
Of course when you think American Crew you think of that well dressed, totally handsome man. Well, if that’s what you think then you are right. American Crew (celebrating it’s 20th birthday) has become known as the “Official Supplier to Men”. With the “disappearance” of the classic barbering techniques in the 80s and 90s, American Crew I on top of the game knowing “that men are back”. What that means is that men want to be “pampered” too and would rather go back to the barber instead of in a salon. It has really become the landmark in men’s grooming supplying stylist with products that every man will love.
While at Premiere Orlando, It’s a Glam Thing was asked to stop and talk to the American Crew booth. Their booth was amazing, their stylist just blew me away with their work with the clippers. Also while at the booth I got to see for my very first time a straight edge close shave performed by another one of their awesome stylists. You will find American Crew not only here in the U.S.A, but in many other countries around the globe.

While seeing their models on stage, I kind of felt like I was going back in time. Has anyone else noticed how styles that were popular by men in the 40s and 50s seem to be making their way into 2014? Now I have to admit, that “pompadour” look on a man is my absolute favorite. I think it makes them look very distinguished and just down right handsome. Now of course all the looks were modernized to fit the 21st century lol. I wish I had time to talk about all of the products but before I left their booth, I was given two products to try out and give a woman’s point of view on.
