When the “Skyfalls” at The Grammys

The “Skyfalls” at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards with the beautiful Adele.  With an updo, courtesy of celeb hairstylist Michael Ashton and John Freida hair care line, Adele dazzled the red carpet.  See how you too can achiee this look at home.

Celebrity hairstylist Michael Ashton gave Adele an elegant, sophisticated updo, with lots of texture for tonight’s Grammy Awards.

In order to recreate this look yourself, follow these steps from Michael using products from John Frieda.

Step 1—Prep

  • ·       Apply the NEW Luxurious Volume Fine to Full Blow-Out Spray ($9.99 at drugstores) to wet hair before blow-drying with a medium sized round brush, paying particular attention to the ends to ensure they are bouncy and luscious. This heat activated spray will help ensure you build volume that will last but won’t be too sticky.

Step 2 – Style

  • ·       Next set in hot rollers. Once cool, carefully brushed through with a natural bristle brush.

Step 3 – Perfect

  • ·        Finish off the look by twisting the back section into a French twist and pin away from the face. Mist withLuxurious VolumeAll-Day Hold Hairspray ($5.99 at drugstores) to ensure the updo stays in place all night long.

This is a Part of the Grammy’s

The 55th annual Grammy Awards stunned with stars from Katy Perry to Beyonce.  When it comes to award shows (and being a hairdresser myself), I always LOVE to see the different hairstyles.  One look that killed was Katy Perry.  Head to toe she stunned that red carpet with a hairstyle, courtesy of Renato Campora and KMS® California hair care.  See how you to can achieve this look below.

At the 55th annual Grammy Awards,Katy Perry looked stunning from head to toe, with a voluminous hairstyle created for her byRenato Campora using products from KMS® California hair care.

For Katy’s look, Renato was inspired by a 50s pin-up glam girl, with shiny, voluminous hair. To get her look, Renato first applied KMS California ADDVOLUME® styling foam to wet hair. Then, he blew it out using a large round brush to create volume. Next, Renato parted her hair down the middle and applied KMS California FREESHAPE® hot flex sprayto ensure the style would last all night. Then, he used a 1 ½ inch curling iron to smooth the hair and create texture. To seal the look, Renato added a drop of KMS California SILKSHEEN® polishing serum. Renato really brought the pin-up girl to life with Katy’s gorgeous, shiny hair, spraying it with KMS California HAIRPLAY® dry touch-upfor instant, weightless surface conditioning.
