Gold Sugar & Rose Gold…It’s a Revolution

Except for the two matte shades, these gorgeous, rosy, golden tones are slightly shimmery. With this palette alone, you can mix and match to all skin tones and clothing colors. Try layering some of the shimmery colors over the matte shades. I love the rosy color layered over a blush that I already have. My daughter layers the golden tone on her cheeks without any color at all. The combinations are endless, and the colors are perfect for all four seasons. Although the shades in the palette look dark, as you can see on the white paper (below) the shades are delicate and light enough that you don’t have to worry about the blush going on to dark.

Stowaway Cosmetics are a mini size creating gorgeous eyes

Those of us who use makeup, know there are many brands and options to choose from. I can’t live without my lipsticks and foundation and my daughters love their eye makeup. When you love the color but not the stain, Nakeah has the answer

My daughter Adrienne is loving her new liquid lipstick from Nakeah Cosmetics of Hollywood. The color has a matte finish and stays on throughout the day. Slather Yourself with Nubian Heritage’s Patchouli & Buriti Souffle

There is nothing fun about recovering from knee surgery. Well, I can think of one thing that helps, the amazing gifts I have received from some very thoughtful family and friends. That is my take on it, but if you like sweet scents you will love this collection.

Head Back to School with a little Mad Love

 

Katy Perry debuted her newest fragrance, Mad Love, recently. I have all of Katy Perry’s fragrances, and this latest is my favorite. It has an appealing scent of fruits and flowers, both my favorites. Mad Love has notes of lady apple sorbet, mara strawberry, and pink grapefruit.  The floral highlights are composed of bleeding heart flower, peony, and jasmine. Mad Love has a delicate scent which has quite a bit of staying power. I spray on in the morning and can still smell the beautiful aroma into the early evening.  My youngest daughter also loves the scent and loves the design of the bottle. She has an extensive perfume collection and plans on taking this from me.
