I love Easter because Spring is officially in the air and bright colored flowers are in full bloom. I also love seeing kids all dressed up in their Easter attire and all of the excitement that the Easter bunny and the Easter egg hunt bring. For my daughter’s first Easter I started a tradition of making her an Easter basket each year. It is something that we both look forward to. I thought I would show you how to make this adorable removable No Sew tutu Easter basket so you can start a tradition of your own. It is so simple you won’t believe it. Here’s how you make it!
Supplies: Basket (consider upcyling a basket you already have), Tulle, Ribbon, Silk Flowers Hot Glue Gun, Spray Paint (optional), Scissors
Step One: Spray paint your basket your desired color (optional).
Step Two: Cut your 5/8” ribbon your desired length making sure to add extra ribbon to the total length to tie the tutu when around the basket and a waistline when finished. Cut your tulle in assorted colors into 20” x 1.5” strips.
Step Three: Double your strips and loop them around your ribbon, pulling the fabric back through the center and pulling tight. Follow this step around your entire basket.
Step Four: Glue a flower onto the center of your tutu as an embellishment.
Step Five: Tie your darling tutu around your basket and fill it with goodies.
What I love most about this basket besides the fact that it is adorable is that the tutu can be removed and used for play! It’s a double duty gift that any child can enjoy. I recently had the opportunity to try a very luxurious skincare line, Moroccan Heritage. The majority of products in the Moroccan Heritage skincare line consists mainly of various types of oils. Orange Blossom Water has a light citrus scent and any impurities that are left on your face after cleansing are sure to be removed after its use. I can’t wait to add Orange Blossom Water to my bath water. You can also add it to your favorite Clay Mask like Ghassoul Clay.
Unlike most skin care, you only need a few small drops of Barbary Fig Seed Oil to moisturize your face and neck for ultra soft and moisturized skin. It won’t feel oily at all. Barbary Fig Seed Oil is an anti-wrinkle oil and works wonders on cuticles, hands and your body.
Argan Oil, another one of my favorites is perfect for your entire body. After applying on my body, I rub a little in my scalp and hair which helps if you have a dry scalp. With this dry cold winter we are having here in New England this year, any moisturizing I can get on my scalp the better. You will also be treating your cuticles and hands. Try covering your feet with socks after applying this therapeutic oil to your heels. You will be amazed at the results. I’ve also noticed immediate results after massaging the Argan Oil on my forearms and legs. They are the driest parts of my body and now they are the softest.

Lip gloss tends to be a vital component for people that love makeup and very recently I have tried TRUE Isaac Mizrahi’s Satin Lip Shine in the shade ‘Rose’. Honestly, I’m not a person that tends to wear lip gloss/Lip shines of any kinds; I usually stick to matte lipstick if anything. But this lip gloss was very different.
