According to Alabaster the clinic’s strategy of care is characterized by “a “household model,” which means health services are provided through individual home visits within each community.” Their focus was building a clinic in Kenya and bringing water to the location. This past summer they wanted to deepen their ties there, so in addition to continuing quality medical care through a series of clinics, they created a program aimed at building connections, empowering youth and understanding the community through the eyes of their hosts. The Alabaster Mobile Clinic is a non-profit, charitable healthcare organization that is the featured charity affiliated with the Hollywood Swag Bags this Golden Globe Weekend.
