AnnaSophia Robb was spotted at the L’Occitane en Provence in NYC

AnnaSophia Robb of the new hit TV Show The Carrie Diaries (prequel to Sex & The City), was spotted at the L’Occitane en Provence in New York City. She popped over to shop after appearing on the Today show and was in a great mood despite the cold weather and was super friendly with the staff!

AMIKA Is A Brand I Trust !!

 


My long hair is really important to me. It sounds a little crazy, but I love my hair. Every time I go to the hairdresser my mom begs me to get more than a trim yet I would never cut off more hair then I have to. Because my hair is so long it is important to keep it healthy. An essential way I do this is with hair masks. One of the best ones that I have tried is the AMIKA Obliphica Nourishing Mask. It is a really great product enriched with Moroccan Argan oil and other healthy vitamins for hair. This hair mask also contains Obliphica oil which help with shine, restores vibrancy, and helps repair split ends. Plus, AMIKA is a great brand for hair care. Gud is Definitely Something to Smile About

 

My good friend let me try Gud  Hand Cream and Gud Foaming Hand Wash! I loved it!! First of all, it is made by Burt’s Bees which I adore all their products and second, it is not tested on animals.  Have you ever watched the movie “Legally Blonde goes to Washington”?  It is so sad that some companies test there products on animals but not Gud from Burt’s Bees. Gud’s Pearanormal Hand Cream is all natural and has a fresh pear smell which was not overwhelming!  I have very sensitive skin, so there are a lot of hand creams I cannot use because I break out with a rash. Gud Hand Cream has no parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, or perfume dyes – It is all natural!

The Gud Foaming Hand Wash is sitting on my bathroom counter matching my pink bathroom tiles looking pretty!  The hand wash is another product that I have to watch out for so I do not break out with a rash on my skin. Gud Hand Wash has no parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, or perfume dyes – it too is all natural and perfect for my skin!  It lathers up quickly and feels so good on my hands while I rinse with water.  My favorite scent is Floral Cherrynova which is cherry blossom & almond milk.  To achieve Emma’s modern hair look, follow Mara’s tips:

1. Wash the hair with Sebastian Professional Trilliance Shampoo and Conditioner and apply Clairol Professional Volume Mousse to the lengths of towel-dried hair.

2. Blow-dry the hair with a round brush. Once dried, use Velcro rollers all over to add movement and volume to the hair.

3. Let the Velcro rollers sit for a few minutes and pull them out. Gently brush the hair, making sure to maintain the bend at the ends.

4. Rub a drop of Sebastian Professional Liquid Gloss in palms and apply to hair to tame flyaways and add a luxurious shine.

5. Finish with Sebastian Professional Shaper Hairspray to keep the hair in place.

Butter London Nail Lacquer is Super Fun

I had wanted to try Butter London nail polishes for a while and now that I have… I kick my self for waiting so long! The fun and beautiful color I tried was called “Henley Regatta.” It is a metallic, aqua color that is super trendy this nail polish season- it’s bright and sparkly! It is long lasting and super fun! I cant wait to wear it for New Years parties and I know all my friends are going to want to borrow this color when I go back to school!

The color of this product is not the only thing that makes it great! All of Butter London’s nail polishes are something called “3 free nail lacquer”.  As some of you many know, different kinds of nail polishes contain some ingredients that are known carcinogens (which means they cause cancer)! Yet Butter London is one of the few awesome companies that vow not to use the three most popular of these carcinogens-formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP. On top of that they don’t test their products on animals!! I don’t know who or what the “Henley Regatta is, but I love this nail polish!!

My friends are going to love Essence Colour & Go Nail Polish

I just love the nail polish Essence Colour & Go. It has a wide, flat brush that is easy to control the stroke of the polish. It is quick drying which is very important for me because after I apply nail polish, I cannot sit still and hang around to wait for it to dry.
