My New Best Friends

Let me tell you why. As a proud member of the natural hair community I can testify that when it comes to washing my hair it is a tedious, tiring process. Clarification, the act of washing my hair is not so bad but detangling my hair is the worst, so bad that I gave up blow drying my hair. I lived in the wash and go hair style!!! Needless to say wash day was not a happy day!

Keep Motions in Your Natural Curls

In my day to day dealings I get asked all kinds of questions about my natural hair. How long have you been natural? How long does it take to do your hair? Is it a lot of work? What products do you use, and so forth and so on? Here are the answers; my whole life, it takes a while, not if you have the right products and the hair care line I use is Motions Hair Care. Motions Shampoo is a great start; it gets your scalp clean and eliminates the build up from all the products that we put on our hair daily. Motions Shampoo gets my hair thoroughly clean and ready to receive the conditioner to lock in that moisture my hair so desperately needs. Motions Conditioner is creamy, rich and simple to use. All you have to do is massage the conditioner from your roots to the ends of your hair for about 3-5 mintues then rinse. It makes my hair so soft and easy to detangle, which as every natural hair chick knows that detangling can be the most tedious part in doing our hair.

The Resistance Band workout

1st Exercise
Hold resistance band taunt shoulder height, arms width apart
Open arms as wide as you can
Return arms back to starting position (make sure band stays nice and taunt)

Recommend
3 sets 10-20 reps

2nd exercise
Place band both hands to your left side and rise your right hand up in a V motion
Bring hand back to left side (nice and controlled going up and down)

Recommend
3 sets 10-20 reps

3rd Exercise

Place band both hands to your right side and rise your left hand up in a V motion
Bring hand back to right side (nice and controlled going up and down)

Recommend
3 sets 10-20 reps
