Maintaining perfectly shaped eyebrows is a cinch, but before they can be perfectly shaped, there has to be something to shape. Boom Boom can talk anyone off a ledge! She knows there’s no such thing as natural beauty, but she also knows that bad habits don’t help, so avoid these mistakes and your brows will look REAL, REAL good!

1. OVER PLUCKING– brows that are too thin, have gaps, are too short or start too far from the center of the nose. Put the tweezers down and see a PROFESSIONAL

2. BLEACHED OUT BROWS– don’t let the sun or hair color bleach/lift brow color, brow disappear. Keep them bold by tinting or filling in with Boom Boom Brow Boostier.

3. CONSTANT PICKING– hair gets on different growth cycles and critical eyes tend to be obsessive and do damage to shape/density. Get monthly shaping and be done with it!

4. LOOSING THE ARCH– the best brows have a slight arch, if holding a brush parallel to the outside edge of the colored part of the eye (the iris), where the brush meets the brow is where the highest part of the arch should be. Loose it and it will take time to recover.

5. USING A PENCIL – REALLY?? Those days are over (thank god!)

You don’t have to be a Yachtsman to enjoy the fabulous scent of Luna Rossa

As Rhode Islander, the America’s Cup is a household word as Newport, our coastal Rhode Island town, hosted some of the most famous America’s Cup battles in the competition’s 160 year-old history, that’s right, many of the Americas Cup races were held right in our very own Newport Harbor. I can definitely say that you don’t have to be a yachtsman to enjoy this fabulous fragrance. Just ask my son, a college student who is starting his sophomore year and has just moved into his dorm. I noticed the day after he moved that he forgot to pack a few things but he did not forget to pack his “Prada Cologne”, as he calls it (as you can see from the photo below). I especially liked the S- Series Shampoo which was developed to improve moisture retention when shampooing. S-Series Shampoo contains valuable extracts from fruits such and is ideal for hair that has been damaged by chemical processing or heat styling. It contains fruit and plant extracts from grapefruits, limes, lemons, apples as well as other natural sources. Another great feature of S-Series Shampoo is that the shampoo alone cleanses and conditions, therefore a separate conditioning is not necessary. I couldn’t believe a my hair was as silky and soft as it was without added conditioning.

S-Series Shampoo is sulfate and silicone free and is available in 4 different fragrances including fragrance free.

M-3.2 and P-4.2 are two very important components in the Hair Therapy One Step at a Time treatment as is  the S- Series shampoo. M-3.2  is a multi-purpose toner, enriched with  deep sea and wild plant minerals containing anti-aging properties which repairs and moisturizes your hair and skin. M-3.2 is a spray that can be applied to your hair whenever it feels dry, especially the ends. Spray M-3.2 onto you damp hair to protecting it from styling appliances. The results leave you with shiny soft hair.

P-4.1, the third component in the One Step at a Time treatment is “an ANTI-STATIC liquid that contains deep sea minerals with positively charged ions”. P-4.1 is also an all-natural, chemical free product suitable for both hair and skin. P-4.1 helps to close the hair cuticle and even out the porosity of the hair. For best results, use with M-3.2 to seal moisture in.

For Hair Care: Spray P-4.1 just before blow drying your hair to add extra volume and to fight against static electricity.

For Skin Care: Lightly mist face with P-4.1 to seal the moisture after applying your M-3.2 and your own facial lotion. P-4.1 will help to tighten skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Please note that S-Series Shampoo, M-3.2 and P-4.1 are salon exclusive products.

The following is the One Step at a Time treatment which you will be able to purchase at your hair salon. You can also use the E-Cure Treatment at home following these simple steps.

1. Spray your hair with M-3.2 until your hair is dripping wet.

2. Using 1 part S-2 Treatment Moisturizing Shampoo and 1 part M-3.2, mix together.

3. Apply some of the mixture to your hair, lather, massage into scalp.

4. Leave in for 3 to 5 minutes without rinsing.

5. Spray P-4.1 lightly throughout hair and comb out hair with a wide tooth comb.
