Cocktails & Color to Fight Breast Cancer from Beauty Bar & Nailtini®

In what can best be described as a pairing that begs the question “what took them so long?”, Beauty Bar and Nailtini, renowned purveyors of cocktails and beauty, are coming together in the fight against breast cancer in the best way they know how – through martinis and manicures for the cause.

When Beauty Bar founder Paul Devitt lost his ex-wife to breast cancer caused by the BRCA gene mutation – which could also affect his young daughters – he resolved to leverage the notoriety of his trend-setting business to make a difference. Nailtini founder Michelle Toma Olson was only too eager to get involved, pledging to stock participating Beauty Bar locations with her brand’s incomparable lacquers for services and retail sale, proceeds from which will benefit the Basser Research Center for BRCA at the Universtity of Pennsylvania.

This passionate part of Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center provides education and support for individuals and families with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations, with its mission being to deliver cutting edge research in basic and clinical sciences to advance the care of individuals who carry them.

Devitt and Olson took the collaboration a step further by curating a Beauty Bar collection for “The Lacquer Cabinet” – Nailtini’s exclusive lacquer delivery service featuring limited-edition on-trend collections made for polish mixology.
