It’s a British Invasion, but this time it’s not music

With London’s fashion flare in cosmetics, it is fun to try the newest and best of their latest products. I personally believe that cosmetics are the key point in every womens life. We don’t really need them but we feel that when we are wearing makeup we feel pretty and more confident about our look.
With so many cosmetics lines out there we are bombarded with questions. Questions like “what will this product do that another won’t”? and “Which line will be the best for me”?

Having been trained in many different lines I have found one cosmetics line that is not only “pocket friendly” but is also great when it comes to long lasting eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick application. Bath and Body: You can’t get enough

My mom just cannot seem to get enough of Bath & Body Works. When I recieve anything Bath & Body in the mail I give it to her to try because she is the queen of that store. One fragrance I gave her was a shower gel. Here is what she has to say.

Bath & Body…….ahhhhhh, one of my favorites! I’ll never forget when I discovered Bath & Body Works; it provided me with a whole new world of lotions & sprays for everyday use and pampering. I was also delighted to find a whole new store of gift ideas that I had stayed away from before because I had believed that fragrances were way to personal to decide for another person.

At Bath & Body, the selection is immense and I can always find something that I know others will enjoy using when they feel like just pampering themselves.
Shower gel is not one of the products that I had previously used because I was still a “soap & water” bather. For my first shower gel experience, I tried one of the Signature Series…..”Wild Apple Daffodil” fragrances. It is a delightful luxury! It not only cleans and softens your skin, but also has a wonderful fragrance to enjoy. The Aloe Vera and vitamin E is so kind to your skin that you feel like you are doing more than showering. You are, in essence, doing your skin a favor by pampering it with nourishment and a moisturizer.

“Bath & Body Works” products have added a whole new dimension to my life. Now I take the time to pamper me because I have the products to enhance the pampering experience. Because Bath & Body products are reasonably priced, I tend to keep well stocked with several different fragrances to cater to my various pampering moods. With stocking a variety there is always one that entices me to take time for myself no matter how I am feeling that day.

Try the shower gel; you will be glad that you introduced yourself to one more luxury in life that you deserve. Now I think that I have to stock up on different shower gel fragrances to match my lotions and sprays. Thank You Bath & Body Works!

Getting Lippy With It

In cosmetology school my favorite thing to do besides color and facials was makeup applications. I loved the fact of teaching woman how to properly apply their “face” and how to make them feel better.  One question I was always asked was “What color should they wear on their  lips and should it be lip gloss or lipstick”?  I always aimed for the lip gloss because it gives a nice pop pf color with that added shine.

Now, outside of school I get to try other makeup products and experiment with many lip glosses.  Since then I have tried and found a lip gloss that stays on and is not goopy or stingy on color.  I use Butter London’s Lippy Lip gloss and their Nail Lacquer.

Nails are another thing I enjoy doing.  It took many tries to find a nail polish that goes on and stays on.  I tried Butter London’s Nail Lacquer on my mom who is always in the dirt planting and digging up weeds. Through all that it stays on her nails longer than I thought it would. I did her nails in the middle of April and they are just now starting to wear off in the first week of May. That is a great endurance for the amount of abuse she puts her nails through.

Life is good when it comes from Bath & Body Works

Bath and Body Works is an all time favorite when it comes to scents and last minute gift ideas. One person I know of who loves Bath and Body Works and loves using it as gifts is my mom. Here’s what she has to say about her love for Bath and Body.

When Bath & Body named their deep cleansing liquid hand soap “Fresh Picked Pear” and “Fresh Picked Tangerine”, they named them well. It takes only a few drops to give you that really clean feel and fresh fragrance that actually stays with you. I’ve used these two “Fresh Picked” liquid soaps for the past few days and what really surprised me was that how they really smelled like fresh fruit and how long the fragrance stayed with me long after washing my hands.

Long after washing my hands the other day, I kept getting a “wiff” of the pear scent. I had forgotten about using the liquid soap earlier so I couldn’t figure where the fresh fruit smell was coming from. It took me a couple of minutes before I realized that it was my hands that were carrying the scent. It made me smile to realize that it was actually me that smelled like fresh picked pears.

I love Bath & Body Works! Always new fragrances and products to try and a great place to purchase gifts for everyone. I always keep several liquid soaps on hand for that unexpected time when I just need to tell someone that I appreciate them. They are great gifts and always appreciated.

Is it love? No it’s EvaAmour

I can remember when I was younger my mom having what she called her “signature scent”. Every morning after her shower she splashed herself with it smelling up her whole bathroom. I remember asking her why it was her “signature scent”, and she it is a scent that she always wore that made her feel good about herself. Silk: It’s Not Just a Fabric

I don’t know about you but I am getting very excited. Why you ask? Because it’s getting warmer out. Sun is shining, days are longer, beaches are just as gorgeous as ever, and stores are bombarded with last minute summer shopping.

My favorite thing about summer is VACATIONS!!!! You never know who you will meet and what will happen but one thing is for sure, no matter where we go or what we do our legs tend to tag along. Our legs are less exposed to the world in the winter so we go a little longer without shaving. Summer is completely different. Forget Your Troubles Come on Get Happy

When I was 7 years old I fell in love with the show “I Love Lucy”. Lucille Ball is the greatest and most talented comedian I have ever seen. One thing that amazed me aside from her comedic timing was how her lipstick stayed on while doing her many crazy redheaded antics. I asked my mom why it was only red lipstick she wore. In the 1950s red was mostly the only color they had.

I know you are probably wondering why I’m talking about this. Well I recently came in contact with blue, green and yellow lipstick.
