Hollywood Beauty Alert!!!!

How-To

INSPIRATION:  “I really wanted the focus of this look to be her eyes.”

MARINA’S PREP TIPS:  “Make sure to visit a European Wax Center for waxing at least 2 days before an event or your makeup won’t hold on the area you waxed” 

EYES:  For Hannah’s eyes, Marina created an Egyptian style cat eye to achieve the sleek look. Marina applied a flesh toned shimmery eyeshadow to the eyelid, and then used a dark eyeliner to create the look.

The Screen Actor’s Guild

It’s that time of year again. The Screen Actors Guild Awards. Just like every award show, each actor and actress shines in his or her own way.  Actresses Rose Byrne and Naya Rivera shine in their award winning hairstyles courtesy of John Freida Internantional products. See how you too can acheive these looks below.

 

Inspired by the retro, feminine look of Rose Byrne’s gown, John Frieda International Creative Consultant Harry Josh created a modern take on the classic wave by keeping them controlled, glossy and flat to the head.

Step 1 – Prep

Josh applied a few pumps of the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection Formula Hair Serum ($9.99 at drugstores) through wet hair and blow dried using a large, round bristle brush. “The key to this look is a flawless blowout,” said Josh. ” Her waves need to be completely controlled and any hint of frizz would disrupt the style.”

Step 2 – Style

After sectioning off the hair, Josh wrapped each section around a small curling iron and then carefully brushed it out.

 

Step 3 – Perfect

Josh finished off the look by applying a sheer coat of John Frieda Frizz-Ease 100% Shine ($5.99 at drugstores) to ensure that her waves glistened when the light from the flash bulbs hit on

 

 

NAYA RIVERA:

Celebrity hairstylist Clyde Haygood gave Naya Rivera a statement-making red carpet look for tonight’s SAG Awards: with dramatic and glamorous long waves, Rivera looked like a modern day Veronica Lake. Below please find the steps he took to create her sleek and classic look, using products from John Frieda.

 

Step 1 – Prep

Step 2 – Style

Step 3 – Perfect

Love Your Hair!!!

I have always had great luck with all the Alfaparf Semi di Lino Haircare Products.  As a licensed professional hairdresser, I have tried many different hair products but none compare to Alfaparf.  My hair is naturally curly, and very coarse so many times my hair has felt very dull and it just lies there like a bump on a log.  It’s very annoying!!!!!

My long hair is really important to me. It sounds a little crazy, but I love my hair. 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards Hairstyles

OVERVIEW: A classic, feminine look on Nina Dobrev that can be easily replicated at home, created by stylist Riawna Capri of Nine Zero One Salon.

PREP:

1.)  In order to smooth Nina’s hair and add shine, her hair was prepped with U LUXURY Shampoo and Conditioner, which are infused with crushed pearl, Hawaiian white honey and Argan oil. Next, Riawna used UNITE 7SECONDS Conditioner to detangle condition and protect hair.

2.)  Next, she blow-dried hair using the UNITE 9-Row Denman Brush to smooth the cuticle of her hair.

3.)  Nina then flipped her head upside down while Riawna completed a classic braid from the nape to the crown of her head.

4.)  All remaining hair was pulled up into a ponytail.

5.)  UNITE BEACH DAY Spray was spritzed throughout the dry ponytail to add density to the hair.

6.)  The hair was wrapped and pinned into a classic bun.

7.)  The final look was held in place using UNITE GO365 Hairspray and polished off with UNITE SHINA-Mist.

Just when you think the stars can’t shine anymore, they keep coming around the corner.  The gowns keep flowing, the jewelry continues to shine, and the hairstyles keep turning heads. With help from NEW Suave Professionals® Moroccan Infusion hair products, designer and “Fashion Star” mentor Nicole Richie dazzled the red carpet with her show stopping curls.

My Aunt Loves Her Face and Now You Can To with faceLOVE

 My Aunt Gale tried and loves faceLOVE. Here is what she has to say:

Face Love is an amazing product. I can now say I love my face. I had a few lines around my left eye and mouth. A very small amount of Face Love does wonders.  The serum goes a long way. I only wish I had known of this product last summer before my daughter’s wedding.   We have the pictures back and I see lines.  If I had used this product then there would be a different face in the pictures.  I like a natural look and Face Love allows me to use less make up. I have always disliked that heavy feel of products on my face.     My advice to you is to get Face Love before the big event not after like I did. Then you will love your face in those big event pictures.

The 70th Annual Golden Globes Signature Looks

So many looks so little time.  That’s the way it goes at The 70th Annual Golden Globe awards.  Each star showed off his or her signature look as they walked the red carpet.  Actress Kate Hudson turned the most heads with her elegant yet simple soft, voluptuous hair style courtesy of  IT&LY HAIRFASHION’S Purity Design Line. 

According to celebrity hairstylist David Babaii,  “I wanted to show off Kate’s healthy, shiny hair in a style that emphasizes her true Hollywood beauty. As the perfect “Muse” and my inspiration, Kate is my generation’s Brigitte Bardot showing off soft voluptuous hair that is touchable, glamorous and now Kate’s very own signature look.”

To achieve, David used IT&LY HAIRFASHION’S Purity Design Line that gives a natural, long-lasting hold which is perfect for beautiful results. David started with IT&LY’s Pure Water Drops Serum before blow drying. Next, he added IT&LY’s Pure Style Mousse Strong and used a medium round brush at the root area to add volume then switching to a large round brush to smooth and create soft rounded edges. After drying, David created a natural side part spritzing IT&LY’s Pure Volumizing Eco at the base for added lift and down the shaft for more piecey definition. For her sexy fringe he wrapped the bang area around a medium round brush spraying a small amount of IT&LY’s Pure Volumizing Eco again.
