DIY apple cinnamon lip balm

I loved lip balm when I was younger. I can remember every time my mom and I went to the store I always begged my mom to let me go and look at the lip balm. Although every tube my mom ever got me ended up getting lost or used up very quickly. Now here I am 24 years and still have a love for lip balm but can now do it at home. Below I found this recipe (courtesy of DIY Lip Balms) for an at home DIY Apple Cinnamon Lip Balm. All I can say is yummy!

Apples and cinnamon

Add in the apple oil, Add in cinnamon oil Add in vanilla essential oil. Whisk together Transfer the contents into the tubes, pots or jars and cover securely. Clean it up with CeraVe

For the past couple of weeks I have been horrible when it comes to my skincare routine. Being that I work from home I felt that it was not a big deal to worry to much about washing my face or doing moisturizer etc. Boy was I WRONG! My skin felt so rugged, looked very dull and acne was coming out of nowhere. At times I noticed that the less I did to my face the better it was but you can only do that for so long. One week ago I tried a product that transformed my skin and now I can’t get enough….CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser.

CeraVe

CeraVe

The Renewing SA Cleanser is new product that helps to eliminate acne, dissolve dirt and oil leaving your skin feeling soft. Not only that but it will give off a nice, youthful glow. At night when it is time to take off your makeup, if your anything like me, you dread doing it. Many cleansers I have tried do not dig down deep and get all the layers off. The foaming effect really helps to exfoliate and get every last morsel of makeup off. I recommend this product for all skin types and even if it is sensitive.

The hydrating cleanser bar, just like the cleanser for the face, helps your skin all over. If you want to now more about CeraVe and all the products check out www.cerave.com

Confidence is key

Empowerment, motivation, confidence, just a few things the More Than Enough Inc. fashion experience brought to the runway last night in Ocala, Florida. A non-profit, faith based organization, More Than Enough Inc. was created in 2006 by Shawana Vikors. Having worked in the fashion industry for some time, Shawana opened More Than Enough Inc. with the mindset to help men, women boys and girls that what God gave them is all they need to succeed.

MTE

MTE

Unlike any fashion show I have ever been to, More Than Enough kicked it off with a bang! Starting off in “Majestic Africa”, the show featured different parts of life we all can relate to in some way. Being a mom, the life of a child, and just wanting to feel a little bit sexy. The show was not just about fashion, MTE is about confidence. We see many runways that show one thing when we are all made differently yet beautifully. As the show went on the cheers came as the hosts Chanté & Cavender entertained us, a poet stunned us with her poem and a singer made us think.

MTE even honored a hard working single mother of 5 boys with an all exclusive “Model for a Day” treat. Kenya was their lucky winner. Hard working, active in her church and all over beautiful women, Kenya was rocking her new look. The show also featured TSPA Alumni Rhonda Lane.

More Than Enough

More Than Enough

The biggest thing MTE wants to share with the world is that it is ok to love yourself, to be yourself and to love the gifts you were given. In a troubled world, MTE gives praise to God for his blessing sand knows that nothing would be possible without him. If you would like to learn more and even become part of More Than Enough check out www.mteinc.org There you will see all about their mentoring program EMPOWERU and so much more! Congratulations to Shawana and the MTE team for an awesome first show. You truly are inspirations to many. Keep it up!
