In late 2020 Australian author and illustrator, Amanda Maynard-Schubert debuted her first novel in the Stormbringer Chronicles Trilogy titled The Bards of Birchtree Hall and is currently working on her second in the series. Amanda draws her inspiration from authors like Tamora Pierce and J.R.R. Tolkein which can be seen in her fantasy lands and magical creatures. In The Bards of Birchtree Hall Neala Moran discovers she is a Bard, part-human part-fairie. When she moves to Ireland her world would change in ways she never imagined. While the final chapter is able to answer some questions and close that chapter it gives way to a bigger more mysterious storyline for book two of the trilogy.
