Located in Seattle, Washington Theo Chocolate is a chocolatier for inventive fair-trade & organic confections. If they look familiar, you might have seen their generous-sized chocolate bars at one of the many Whole Foods or Sprouts Farmers Markets. With flavors as colorful as their packaging (like peanut butter and jelly cups), their mission is to “create a more beautiful, compassionate, and enduring world by responsibly making delicious and inspiring products for everyone.” Founded in 2005 Theo is the first organic, fair trade certified chocolate maker in North America. This month Theo Chocolates was named best vegan chocolate at the 2021 Veggie Awards. The VegNews Veggie Awards is the largest survey of vegan products in the world and received over 2 million votes for their survey this year. (Click here to find out about their numerous past awards.)
