With, of course, the presence of the signature Kristina Fidelskaya dress coat.

The collections of Kristina Fidelskaya have this striking particularity with the creations of Mariano Fortuny that is seen evident in her Autumn Winter 18-19 collection, ” Nuovo Inizio”.
A collection with a touch of Montana, with its oversize shoulders, its precise silhouettes that mark and draw the waist, in a spirit of deconstruction , soft tailoring and natural elegance. Geoffrey Beene’s graphic line blends into the fluid movement of the silk fringes of the 1970s. A resolutely elegant wardrobe, easy to wear, but also and above all timeless, punctuated with coated shearling and silk mousseline fil coupe, for a cocooning effect.

My Serendipity Favorites
It was with a fortunate stroke of serendipity that I recently discovered some delightful skin care products. Serendipity, the collection, includes Serenade Repairing Night Cream, Sparkle Rejuvenating Eye Serum, Architect Redefining Face Serum, Gaze Restoring Eye Cream, and Perfection Hyaluronic Cream.
As you can see by the photo above, I love pretty and delightful things such as vintage crystal candle stick holders, that pretty silver and pearl ceramic shoe ornament, unique candles, refurbished wooden shelves, distressed hardware. The unexpected buried treasures are always the best.
Now lets take about my Serendipity love. First of all, these products are packaged in pretty little boxes that I can’t possibly yet put out for recycling. Secondly, inside of the outer packaging you’ll find the products encased cleverly in their very own pretty display boxes (photo below). I will absolutely re-purpose those. Thirdly, the jars and dispensers are themselves very lovely.

Now to the formulas – yes, delightful to the touch, the senses and true to the purpose of use of each and every product. A pleasant surprise for me, the owner and founder, Gina Harper, licensed skincare professional, got everything right. I am just coming out of a round of micro needling procedures and throughout that journey, I was on the look out for new facial skin care products that would enhance my subtle but definite new healthy skin look. I made the fortunate discovery of Serendipity Architect Redefining Face Serum and Perfection Hyaluronic Face Cream.

Actress, dancer, and singer Teyana Taylor unveiled her new ’90s-inpired nail salon with OPI, Junie Bee Nails. The salon’s namesake comes from her 2-year-old daughter with Cleveland Cavaliers Iman Shumpert.

The interior embodies classic Harlem with neon sneakers dangling from a power line to a graffiti train as the waiting room and even ’90s pop culture cartoons adorning the nail stations. Taylor says she wanted to create a space that brought a barbershop vibe into nail salons. “We didn’t have a lot of nice nail salons – growing up you had a couple fold out chairs,” Taylor laughs. “Nails are important to me and my community.” She hopes her first nail salon will also create opportunities for Harlem
It’s not just the salon décor that’s unique about Junie Bee Nails, but also the techniques and nail art offerings. As Taylor describes bringing back the airbrush technique, she herself is sporting long coffin-shaped nails with a sponged-on red acrylic.
Next to Taylor is her partner, Coca Michelle (@cocamichelle), a London-born nail technician with fluorescent orange braids. The pair met while Taylor was filming America’s Best Dance Crew and hit it off immediately. Taylor knew Michelle was the person to help her shake up the idea of what a traditional nail salon looked like. “I’ve never seen someone like her in the nail salon. She had big baggy clothes and tattoos – seeing her was like a diamond in the rough. […] I asked her to go on tour with me. She was really able to express herself,” says Taylor. Just as she hand-picked her business partner, she did the same for her staff. Michelle and Taylor recruited nail technicians through Instagram. “I’m a visual person and I want to see it. We went through every single DM and hand chose every person.”
OPI named Taylor its newest brand ambassador. Taylor had Junie Bee Nails in the works before the professional nail company and her even began their partnership. “OPI came to see it [Junie Bee Nails] when it was still a bakery. They could have given up on us, but they believed in us.”
The salon will be part of an exclusive partnership with OPI products offering a full range of hand and foot care, as well as the brand’s newest lacquers and products.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Teyana in what’s sure to be an incredible year ahead for her, starting with the opening of Junie Bee,” says OPI co-founder and brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. “We can’t wait to see Teyana’s salon vision come to life. From being a bodyguard to celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, to being a male entertainment dancer to help pay the bills while chasing his dreams, to hunting down criminals as a former NYPD officer, current actor/director Steve Stanulis has experienced a lifetime of things that makes him who he is today.
Through all his life hurdles and experiences, Steve has always remained one fashionable guy, and so It’s A Glam Thing just had to sit down with him ahead of the release of some of his new films & projects to find out more!
NICK NORTHSTAR: How would you describe your own personal style – both while at home and on the red carpet?
STEVE STANULIS: I like to always be a little more dressy, usually a suite with a t-shirt under the suit. I don’t believe in going to Red Carpets in just jeans and a t-shirt.
NN: You are based in New York… what about the city do you love most? Would you ever move here to Hollywood?
SS: Being a native New Yorker, I love the energy and the realness of the people here in New York City, you always know where you stand. I always love my time in LA, especially the weather, but I am an East Coast guy through and through.
NN: As a former male entertainment dancer, are you big into clothing and fashion (ha-ha)?
SS: Usually most male dancers are known to usually wear tight jeans and tank tops to show off their physique. I actually became more fashion conscious when I left the male review circuit.
NN: You are also a former NYPD officer… What about this time in your life do you cherish most?
SS: What I miss most about being and NYPD Officer, is the camaraderie of the guys and the times we spent through the good times and the bad times.
NN: You also worked as a bodyguard to people like Kim Kardashian… what was your “go-to” outfit for that type of work?
SS: The uniqueness of my experience as a bodyguard is a little different at 5’11 and 195 pounds, I don’t fit the criteria of what a body guard should be. I was always hired to look like I fit in with the client but still have the ability to show my shield as a police officer, which always got a positive response from fans of the client.
NN: What is your favorite Instagram filter? Or #NoFilter?
SS: I tend to prefer no filter. I believe a picture should look in its most natural form.
NN: What is your advice to anyone wanting to move and work in the entertainment industry in New York?
SS: New York is not an easy place by any means. It is probably a lot harder to break into the entertainment business her than on the West Coast. If you stay focused and have tenacity you can make anything happen. Just like the famous saying, “If you can make it here you can make it anywhere”.
NN: What has been your favorite outfit / costume to wear while on a set of a film/show?
SS: That is a great question! By far to date was my guest star on The Deuce, which had me in full 70’s attire from head to toe. The details down to the watch and jewelry were amazing.
NN: What upcoming projects do you have?
SS: I have Clinton Road coming out which is a film based on a real road in New Jersey, starring Ice-T which I directed. We are also in pre-production on a film called Chronicles of a Serial Killer, which is like Seven meets Silence of the Lambs. I am also getting ready to jump into a TV show called Red Money which I am very excited about.
NN: Who has been your favorite celebrity to work with so far?
SS: By far, Ice-T. Not only one of the nicest most down to earth genuine person, a tremendous, talented actor.
