Princess Madeleine of Sweden Wears a Bespoke Séraphine Gown!

December 11, 2017 –  Princess Madeleine of Sweden wore a custom made gown by award winning British maternity brand Séraphine at this year’s Nobel Prize award ceremony, held at the Stockholm Concert Hall.
The one of a kind gown was designed in London by Séraphine founder Cécile Reinaud, and made to measure by Séraphine‘s team of talented in-house tailors. In a soft vintage mauve shade, the bespoke maternity gown was crafted in pure silk, and features a sumptuous hand-beaded overlay in precious gold lace, providing a unique jewel encrusted finish.
Princess Madeleine, who is expecting her third child in spring 2018, is known to be a fan of Séraphine, having previously worn bespoke creations by the brand while expecting her son Prince Nicolas.
Cécile Reinaud said: “It is a huge honor to be asked to create a gown for such a prestigious event, and I am thrilled with the result. The Princess wore it beautifully.”
Séraphine is the maternity brand of choice for expectant royals. The brand has dressed all three Swedish Princesses through their previous pregnancies, as well as being a favorite brand of the Duchess of Cambridge. Séraphine is no stranger to creating bespoke styles for royal clientele – In 2015 the brand created a bespoke maternity wardrobe for Princess Madeleine’s sister, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden. Séraphinehas also created several bespoke pieces for The Duchess of Cambridge, including the iconic purple maternity coat, which she wore on her arrival in New York with Prince William to kick off their first royal visit to the United States.
As well as dressing royalty, Séraphine is well known for its impressive celebrity clientele, having dressed a host of A-listers including Jessica Alba, Gwen Stefani, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Mila Kunis and many more through their pregnancies.
