Lip gloss tends to be a vital component for people that love makeup and very recently I have tried TRUE Isaac Mizrahi’s Satin Lip Shine in the shade ‘Rose’. Honestly, I’m not a person that tends to wear lip gloss/Lip shines of any kinds; I usually stick to matte lipstick if anything. But this lip gloss was very different. First off, I loved the smell of the lip shine. It was minty, which is one of my favorite flavors for any lip product because it tastes good, smells good and coming from a person with very sensitive lips/skin, it’s not too minty where it irritates your lips. Usually other lip glosses/shines are just tints That have almost no pigmentation whatsoever, so when I tried this one I was very impressed with the amount of rich color and pigmentation that was in this one particular product.
I tried it on my lips and the color ‘Rose’ is just so beautiful and perfect in my opinion. It is a light dusty pink that can work with any skin tone under the sun! Lastly, one other reason I don’t wear lip gloss too often is because the lip glosses that I have used in the past made my lips peel like crazy. This is because many lip glosses contain harsh ingredients like Menthol, Camphor, and Phenol and these cause your lips to dry out.
