See below step-by-step.

Look:  A textured low pony with a modern twist on the french twist.

  1. Apply RUSK Volumizing Mousse($18; Ulta) to damp hair and scrunch with fingers as you blow dry completely to create the wild texture.

Towel and Scarf had a baby…. SweatSTR

I must admit, I am that chick who goes to the gym looking rough; I really don’t care what I look like when I work out. My mindset is I go to the gym to work out and look good when I am away from the gym. Ok, I said I WAS that chick. Now there are so many fashionably fit accessories that allow you to exercise hard and look fashionable. I go to the gym with as little as possible, I don’t even bring a gym bag.

There are many ladies who pack their gym bag to the brim. They carry everything in it but the kitchen sink. I on the other hand don’t even bring a towel. I know, I know that’s so bad, but I do wipe off each machine before and after I use them. The reason I don’t bring a towel is simple. I know a lot of people worry about germs and don’t want their towels on the floor or bench. I don’t worry too much about germs, (as I said before, I wipe it off before I use the machine anyway) but I do worry about where I leave my towel. Did I leave it on a machine, in the restroom, or on the bench? I have lost so many towels because once I am in my zone; I’m focused on my workout and getting out of there. I do however have to keep stopping to get a paper towel between sets to wipe my sweaty face. When I find a really good shampoo, I like to pass it along to my readers. SOTAH (State of the Art Hair) is one of those hair care lines that didn’t last long in my bathroom. I managed to keep SOTAH Conditioning Shampoo for myself and my two daughters snagged the Oil Creme Therapy which they love. Janet Zeitoun, celebrity hair stylist has created SOTAH which consists of Conditioning Shampoo, Moisture Boost Conditioner and Oil Creme Therapy.

I am having excellent results with SOTAH Conditioning Shampoo. It does such a great job moisturizing my hair, that it doesn’t need any extra conditioning. My hair is left velvety soft and bouncy. SOTAH Conditioning Shampoo is formulated for chemically treated and dry hair (yes, that’s my hair type) which is why my hair loves this shampoo. I have curly hair and I can’t tell you how nice it is not to have to force a comb through my hair after washing it. My daughters love the Oil Creme Therapy. They apply a small amount to their fingertips and gently massage from their scalp to the roots. Oil Creme Therapy also helps control frizzies and split ends which is a big concern for them. They said that their hair is soft, smooth, shiny (thanks to the coconut oil and Kale extract) and FABULOUS!  The dry air from the indoor heat also causes us dryness and the Oil Creme Therapy is the perfect product to relieve excessive dryness. Oil Creme Therapy is lightweight so it won’t weigh your hair down or make it feel sticky (yes, I have had that problem before with other brands).
