Sports lifestyle brand ’47 has embarked on a new journey. Collaborating with Black Fives, ’47 can now call itself the first sports lifestyle apparel collection ever produced under license through a public charity. The Black Fives Foundation was created to honor its pioneers and their descendants. Through research, preservation and teaching they aim to engage and inspire youth while promoting the pre-1950 history of African Americans in basketball.
