Fashion industry icon Donna Karan is leaving her post as Donna Karan International head designer after more than 30 years. Karan, 66 plans to spend more time expanding her philanthropic initiative, the Urban Zen Foundation. She will be an “adviser” to DKI.
Karan, one of the most influential Fashion designers in the world, co-founded DKI in 1984 with her late husband Stephen Weiss. The show-stopping red gown is credited to Karan whose celebrity clients include Viola Davis, Jennifer Lopez, Sofia Vergara, Jane Fonda and many, many more.
