My mom has been telling me about a solid perfume she wanted me to try. It’s called Himalayan Musk from Auric Blends (auricblends). I love all kinds of perfumes but never had a musk scent. When I think of musk oils and musk scents, I think of perfumes from my mother’s generation, somewhat of an older person’s scent. Was I wrong about that thought. When I came home from college on Spring break, I found on my bureau, (what I thought was) a beautifully detailed knick knack. What it really was, was a beautifully hand crafted soap stone container and when I lifted the lid, it contained the solid perfume my mom has been telling me about..
The fragrance was so much nicer than I thought it it would be. Auric Blend’s solid perfumes are made with beeswax and coconut oil along with a combination of many different fragrances. Himalayan Musk itself, has a gentle floral aroma, which I love, along with hints of white sandalwood and pale amber. I really do find this fragrance delightful. Another highlight of this fragrance I must note is that after applying some to my wrists and neck, at the end of the day I can still smell the delicate fragrance. Its staying power is incredible.
