SPANISH OMELET

This is an easy dish to make.  If you have any left over, keep in the fridge and save for later- it is good cold as well as hot.  Add a variety of whatever vegetables are in season, to suit your own taste.  Serves 6.
2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable (canola) oil, plus extra for greasing
3 large potatoes very thinly sliced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
6 eggs
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Freshly ground black pepper
Dash of Tabasco sauce
*Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F.  Use the oil to grease an 8×12 inch baking tray.
*Heat the oil in a large skillet and cook the potatoes until nearly soft, then add the onion and cook until it is transparent.  Turn into a large bowl and set aside to cool.
*Lightly beat the eggs and pour over the potatoes and onions.  Add the paprika, pepper and Tabasco sauce and mix well.
*Tip the mixture into the baking tray and cook in the oven for about 35 minutes until the center is cooked (it should wobble when shaken).  Alternatively, if your skillet has an ovenproof handle, pour the mixture back into the skillet, cook for a few minutes over a low heat, then place in the oven for 30 minutes.
*Cut into pizza-style wedges and serve.
Per serving: 202 calories, 10.1g fat, 2.1g saturated fat, 0.08g sodium

When to Start Shaping Eyebrows

Butterfly Studio Salon stylist Jason Dougherty provides step-by-step instructions to create “Daenerys’ braided looks” from Game of Thrones at home!

The season finale is just days away, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be dreaming of the gorgeously intricate hairstyles that have adorned season 4 of Game of Thrones all summer long.

Butterfly Studio Salon stylist Jason Dougherty presents his expert step-by-step guide on how to create one of Daenerys’ fabulous braided looks, so you can get the elaborate, ethereal hairstyle right at home!

JASON’S STEP BY STEP HOME INSTRUCTIONS FOR THESE STUNNING BRAIDED STYLES:
• Split hair down the middle and part out a section around the temple of the head to be used for this top braid.
• Place a light gel or serum like Shu Uemura’s Touch of Gloss on the crown for shine.
• Then create an inverted braid along the head on both sides and connect in the back.
• Prep the remaining hair with Oribe’s Dry Texture Spray.
• Start a Waterfall Braid along the head on both sides and connect with the first braid.
• Finally, use a curling wand to curl the hair.
• Use your hands and a comb to backcomb the hair for this textured messy look. Place an ornate necklace as a headpiece for an added touch.
