Suffering from body acne my whole life, I can honestly say there is not one beauty treatment on the market I haven’t tried at least once. I tried everything from home remedies, to $50 beauty counter remedies but my skin just decided to be as stubborn as it can be. Now here I am, 23 years old and I finally found an anti-acne product that works!!! And it’s only $1!!!!
Acne Body Wash
I was in my local Dollar tree one day and I saw that they had an entire acne line that was made specifically for your body and is simply called “Acne Body Wash”. Since I had tried everything else I figured, what the heck it’s only a $1 if it doesn’t work at least I didn’t spend an arm and a leg on it. Now I do shower everyday but it has been my experience not to use something like this all the time. I use it 3 times a week and have for 3 weeks now. Now my acne is all over the place, but it is the worst on my back and shoulders.
Acne Body Wash is enriched with Aloe Vera to help calm the redness and inflammation of the skin, and the main ingredient is salicylic acid. I can finally have confidence in a strapless dress or shirt and shorts (yes I also had acne on my legs). On top of this, I also use witch hazel and try to get at 3-4 minutes of sun exposure to help dry out my skin.
Now if you are allergic to either one of these products I ask you to steer clear of this product. Also, another little reminder is just because it works for me does not mean it will work for everyone. If you have something that works for you stick with that, but if you want to try this remedy I say give it a shot.
