Age is Just a Number on the Red Carpet!

As the age of movie goers increase, it seems as Hollywood’s actresses and actors are aging gracefully along with their fans.  Hollywood can be a cruel place to get older. These celebrities have sailed into their 50’s and beyond, whether they have phenomenal surgeons, remarkable dermatologists and extraordinary fitness trainers, they still look good.  The red carpet confirms these stars are getting better parts, better pay and looking fabulous doing it!  With the number of popular movie stars in this age range I believe what counts is not the number but the shape you are in and the confidence level.  Here are some of my favorites and I am sure the AARP agrees too.

For Some Serious Fun..There is Always a Man Crate

What started out intending to be a fun Valentine’s Day gift for my husband, has  resulted in a serious daily shave with Man Crates. It all started at mancrates.com which carries some fun and unique gift ideas for men. When the Man Crate arrived there was a genuine crate  inside (shown above). The gift chosen was “The Clean Shave” and was sealed in a miniature wooden crate along with a laser-etched crowbar. The crowbar made the gift very authentic as you actually needed the crowbar to open the crate. I enjoyed watching the look on my husband’s face as he opened the crate to find “The Clean Shave”  inside (shown below).  It was the perfect gift because he had mentioned in the past that he wouldn’t mind trying a chrome razor along with a shaving brush and soap and now he had one to try.

The entire Man Crate packaging was impressive. Once he opened the crate he took out the contents, one at a time and inspected each one. I could tell he was really enjoying this gift. The Clean Shave crate includes authentic shaving accessories such as a Silver Tip Badger Brush and stand, a Parker Razor, a 5 Pack of Shark Chrome Blades, Shave Mug, Shave Towel and a leather case hich is perfect to fit many of the shaving items for travel or for storage. Of course The Clean Shave also comes with all the neceassary items needed to use with the shaving appliances such as Imperial Pre-Shave Oil, Glycerine Face Soap, Imperial Pomade and Bergamot Aftershave.

I have told you about the Crate itself, and these are my husband’s thoughts about it: “Prior to using this shaving system I was a dedicated shower shaver. I never thought I could get a close comfortable shave without shaving in the shower. The  brush applicator does a great job of preparng my beard for a shave and  the brushing action helps keep my pores clear, preventing bumps and uneven skin and therefore practically eliminationg shaving cuts. The shave is a close or closer than anything I achieved while shaving in the shower. The shave is so close that I can skip a day of shaving on the weekends and I can hardly notice. The soap has no smell , it’s a plain odorless glycerin soap which I like.”
