As I was cleaning out my coat closet, I came across a gorgeous, floral print, WD* NY coat that I actually forgot I owned. I remember wearing it once or twice and loving it! Throughout the years, as I purchased more outerwear, this coat simply ended up in the back of my closet and “out of sight – out of mind”. The functionality of this coat is pretty much a statement whether wearing it as a dress, belting it or wearing it as a coat for warmth. You tend to get more mileage out of your outerwear when you have more than one option of wearing it. Of course, as we all know, outerwear in New England really needs to make a fashion statement in style and in spirit.
