Sensitive skin can create all sorts of problems for us ladies who are desperately trying to fight the wrinkles that start pretty early and creep up on you quickly unless you really moisturize! When I was in my early thirties I really hated moisturizers with SPF (I still do) because they generally smell like suntan lotion. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love my suntan lotion when I’m at the beach but I do not want it under my nose 24×7, 365. So, when I opened up the SIMPLE Protecting Light Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Sunscreen I was pleasantly surprised in two ways.
First, it is nearly odorless, which I truly appreciated. It did not smell like SPF at all. Second, it goes on very lightly, which I also love, because the last thing I want to feel is a layer of ‘stuff’ on my skin all day long. The moisturizer is a light, oil free blend of skin-loving ingredients like Glycerin, Allontoin and Bisabolol, and added vitamins (B5 and E) with absolutely no artifical perfume or dyes, no harsh irritants and is dermatologist tested. The moisturizer is also HypoAllergenic and contains no animal derived ingredients, which is just wonderful.
The product is non-comedogenic, so you shouldn’t have breakouts from this at all. The product is reasonably priced, great for sensitive skin and good for combination skin, it keeps you lightly moisturized without overloading you, and it is non-scented.
In addition, I’ve been using the SIMPLE Cleansing Wipes. My favorite one is the oil balancing cleansing wipes, since I tend to have the ‘T type skin – which means I have a swipe of oily and then the rest of my face tends to get dry. What I love about these wipes is that they are made for sensitive skin types, AND they have no alchohol and no artificial perfumes and dyes. For the first time, I have really clean feeling skin from a wipe – with no after effects from alchohol or dyes. In fact, I have no idea why any skin product would EVER have alchohol in it anyway….I recommend SIMPLE light moisurizer and SIMPLE cleansing wipes for anyone who is concerned about putting only the purest products on their skin!
