The Cleanlogic Exfoliating Gloves are a great alternative to a wash cloth. They come with two gloves in a pack. They are so easy to use. When I am in the shower, I just put the gloves on and squirt my favorite body wash in my hands. I massage my hands over my body and it creates a nice lather.
