On Friday October 22, New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) held its first ever Global Fashion Show. The event was organized by Fashionjunkii and brought together a group of 8 extremely talented designers, they themselves from all over the globe, which benefitted The Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project. This was a well anticipated event; it not only allowed these designers to show case their collection, but it allowed the audience an opportunity to see many of a one of a kind pieces, as a plethora of them are not mass produced. The group of talented designers included: Mataano, Louda Collection, Nike Kondakis, African Mosaique, Thula Sindi, Prajje 1983, Amparo Chorda, and David Tlale.
