UK high street fashion comes to the US

Arcadia group is responsible for bringing many UK high street fashion companies to the US for fashion divas to relish in. They feature many brands such as Diva, Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop, Top Man, Miss Selfridge, Wallis and Evans.

I was extremely fortunate to attend their fall and winter showing at the Bryant Park Hotel this week. I am definitely looking forward to this coming season trend. It was fantastic to see figure friendly clothing that is super chic!

SECOND

It’s all about statement jewelry full of flair and color. Necklaces are big a bold, earrings elegant and full of color and bangles designed to be worn in multiple sets!

Animal print is on trend and will be featured in a lot of clothing designs. Faux Fur in all its different colors, patterns and textures is highly in vogue this season. There are many furry creatures rejoicing in this notion and its great to see that fashion designers are embracing new textiles to create this elegant life like look.

FIRST

Shoulders are definitely emphasized in many of these collections. Some designs sported studs and rhinestones and others have a sequins and pearls. Biker influence was also prevalent in a lot of the jacket designs. The thing I love most about this coming season trend is that jackets and coats are rich in colors and texture. Embellishments and bling are definitely in for the festive months. Dresses are elegant and edgy all at the same time so get ready to look fabulous at all your end of year parties.
