Is it the second day after washing your hair? Or third or fourth? Don’t worry, we won’t tell! There’s an easy and quick way to give dirty hair a second life when you don’t have time to wash it. Better yet, it just requires a few key steps and products. We’ve got you covered! Here’s our foolproof favorite way to refresh hair between washes.

Start by brushing it out with a boar bristle paddle brush. Hair naturally tends to be oilier at the roots and dry at the ends. Brushing it regularly helps distribute the oils and revive dry hair. One of the biggest complaints of dirty hair is the oiliness on the scalp. This can remedied with our talc-free Dry Shampoo. It goes on clear so it’s invisible, but when applied at the roots, it quickly absorbs excess oil.

Next, apply some Flexible Hold Hairspray. It’s lightweight and provides a workable hold that won’t weigh down hair. It also protects against heat damage. After that, loosely curl the hair with an Infrared Curling Iron. Run fingers through the curls to break them up a bit.

I was able to get my hands on this step-by step for her hair look and a quote from Castillo.

Look: Half-up Half-down, Sexy Slept-in Waves

Step By Step:

  • On clean hair, start by making loose waves in the hair using the Cricket Co.’s Ultra Smooth Curling Iron.
  • Once the curls have cooled down take the Cricket Co.’s Centrix Ceramic Styling Iron and run it through some of the curls from mid shaft to end to loosen the waves and add some major sexy slept in waves.
  • Comb through all the waves using the wide tooth Cricket Co.’s Ultra Smooth Coconut Oil infused comb to avoid frizz, but create volume.
  • Then take a teasing brush like Cricket Co.’s Amped Up brush and back comb the entire head at the root.
  • Part the hair in half by taking a large section starting from the back of one ear across the top of the head ending on the opposite ear using a tail comb like the Cricket Co. Silkomb.
  • Create a small ponytail on the top of your head using an elastic.
  • Finally, detail the look by pulling out some face-framing pieces and seal with a bit of styling wax on the ends.

Summer time,” Hair ” it is. It has been awhile since we have mentioned White Sands . I really don’t know why because White Sands products are always a favorite. In the summer months I love to wear clear gloss. I am addicted to Plumping Glosses. “Do plumping glosses really work?” I have tried many and I feel, personally, that yes, they can.  The issue is finding on that does. Some are super stingy others are more gentle on the lips. Some are super expensive and others are price friendly. Try Hard Candy Max Pout Plumping Serum. It’s formulated with  hyaluronic acid which does the trick.  Personally, I do have lip lines so I blur the gloss a bit above and below my lips to help out with those lines. It smells so fruity good and I feel like I am finger painting when I use it. It can be used as a scrub on wet skin or a mask on dry skin, an all over body mask! If I had only one word to describe the Sol de Janeiro Bod Buff it would be “amazing”, wait “fun”, and “smoothing”. Ok, so one word won’t do. Use it for, as it says on the packaging, “Touch-me-now Brazilian Babe Skin”. This is a product that I will not part with even though my niece asked sweetly.

Right now, we are loving the Bra Bridge Breast Shape Enhancer. If you want more support, more cleavage, less support, less cleavage, depending on your outfit, your mood, or the occasion, the  Bra Bridge will get the job done. It’s easy to use, really, I tried one. I plan on using the nude/beige Bra Bridge tonight with a pretty floral print on a desert sand background with lace top.  I need just a bit more support for this top to look as pretty as it should. These are great to control bouncing at the gym or dance class too.
