IT&LY Hairfashion Presents….the “Purity Design” Experience


I was recently introduced to IT&LY Hairfashion‘s extensive and incredible line of hairstyling and finishing products called Purity Design. What makes Purity Design so unique? It was designed to “create personal styles while providing moisture and shine to hair.”

IT&LY Hairfashion states that their “labs have separated the purest active ingredients and created a new protection formula that characterizes the line “Desert Blend“. Desert Blend is a combination of vegetable extracts and proteins derived from the plants of arid zones.  “These ingredients ensure  the natural hydration and the right protection against damages to the hair from pollutant agents and UV rays; therefore preventing dryness and dullness.”

Now, let me tell you about the products themselves. I found IT&LY’s website to be very helpful in selecting the appropriate product for my hair type. IT&LY has created  products to treat the specific needs of their clients. I have curly hair and need a medium hold, so what products do I choose?

At http://www.italyhairfashion.com/images/Purity’11-page(s).pdf, you will find a complete description of each product in the Purity Design line.  On  pages 10 and 11,  I found the ” hold factor key”  to be extremely helpful.  This easy to follow color coded chart helped me select the product I needed based ont the hold I wanted (there are 4 to choose from), I chose medium. Purity Design  products do exactly what they say they do, as long as the instructions are followed.

Purity Design Pure Shampoo and Pure Conditioner are perfect for both normal and dry hair.  While the Shampoo helps make your hair stonger and healtier, the conditioner leaves your hair feeling soft, silky  and looking shiny.

After Shampooing and Conditioning, I gave my hair the Pure Fluid Experience.  I applied a small amount of this creamy, silky fluid to my damp hair. Pure Fluid was  designed to give softness and shine to my hair and it did just that.

Pure Hair Eco,  is a medium hold hairspray I use when needed,  giving  my hair a great hold without the heaviness and stiffness some hairsprays can cause.

Selena Gomez Dazzles Wearing AVON at the Teen Choice Awards

Celebrity makeup artist Karan Mitchell worked with young starlet Selena Gomez for last night’s Teen Choice Awards. Inspired by Selena’s hot pink D Squared dress, Karan gave Selena a fun, flirty look with lots of lashes and pink lip gloss.

Karan focused on Selena’s eyes, layering shadows, liner and applying false lashes. She kept her skin super dewy by applying foundation with a dampened sponge and adding concealer under her eyes and on the t-zone for extra brightness. To give her that sunkissed effect, Karan contoured her cheeks with bronzer under the cheek bones and applied blush to her cheekbones for a rosy glow.

Here’s the Skinny on Skinny Girl Face and Body

If you asked me a month ago who Bethenny Frankel was, I never would have guessed that she was one of the “Real Housewives of New York”, I had heard about the show but never had the chance to watch it.  My daughters and I  now know that Bethenny Frankel has created an affordable, no nonesense skincare line  called Skinnygirl Face and Body Solutions.  I am especially enjoying Skinnygirl tinted Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 while my girls chose Skinnygirl Detox Mask.

What I like most about the Skinnygirl tinted Daily Moisturizer SPF 15 is that it does the same job as the name brand product I was recently using did,  but for 2/3 lss the price. That’s right 2/3 less the price.  Skinnygirl Tinted Moisturizer is SPF 15, which helps prevent skin from sun damage, and also contains vitimin E which is an antioxident to help prevent lines and wrinkles.  Skinnygirl Tinted moisturizer is available in 3 shades, so you can choose the one that best suits your skintone.  Skinnygirl Tinted moisturizer helps with redness and smooths out your skin leaving you with an eventoned, beautigul glow without the feeling of having used heavy foundations.  The Skinnygirl Moisturizer also has a wide brush tip applicator, which I tought was brilliant because I never needed to touch my face with my hands.  Skinnygirl  Moisturizer is dispensed through the brush, onto your skin making it easy to moisturize  all the hard places, like the sides of the nose and eye area.  This was so easy to accomplish with the brush tip applicator..  I was sold!

My daughters are especially enjoying Skinnygirl Detox Mask.  The key ingredient in Skinnygirl Detox Mask is Bentonite, which helps remove toxins from the skin, kaolin (whhite clay) which absorbs oils and mattifies and soothes your skin , sweet Almond oil to moisturize and soften and lastly, cucumber Extract which cools and softens skin. They like that their skin feels soft and clean afterwards.  They also told me that after they applied Skinnygirl Detox Mask (following the directions crefully) they could feel the cooling sensation on their skin while the mask was drying.

On a personal note, my husband  tried the Skinnygirl Detox Mask.  After all, what Skinnygirl Detox Mask  was stating was exactly what he was looking for.  Well, he did try it and has been using it on a regular basis.  My husband  is a basic soap bar, shampoo and toothpaste kind of guy.
