I have been neglecting my magazine reading for awhile but am getting back on it! I randomly picked a magazine from the stack by my desk.  It was the October/November issue of Fit Pregnancy.  I read about these Do’s and Don’t’s of hair care during pregnancy…

Don’t color hair in your first trimester.  It’s best to wait until after your 12^th week.

Do color hair in a well ventilated area.  Step outside for from fresh air if you get dizzy, nauseous or headachy.

Don’t chemically straighten your hair during pregnancy.

Do try highlights which don’t touch the scalp or try natural henna dyes.

Dimitri James (SKINN) & Adrianne Curry  

The October 6 issue of Life & Style Weekly reports that “reality star Adrianne Curry snagged some luxe SKINN body balm at the Main Event Emmy Suite in LA!” 

While in LA for Emmy week, I met artist Daniel Maltzman. He was wearing one of his Scuffs, a cool hand painted wristband made from recycled leather and organic paints. I learned that each Scuff is individually painted and no two are alike. Britney Spears & Ryan Seacrest have recently been seen wearing Daniel’s unique, wearable pieces of art!

Kate Linder, known for her role as Esther Valentine on The Young & The Restless, enjoyed a mini-makeover from SKINN’s Dimitri James at the recent Celebrity Green Gifting Chateau in LA during the 60^th Primetime Emmy week. I am a long time fan of Kate’s.  She has been with Y&R for over 25 years! She recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Dimitri gave Kate some great tips and products too!
