I am Loving my Glo Minerals

Unknown-2

I love Glo-Minerals makeup and have recently used two different products that I’ve never used before. They were Glo-Minerals eye shadow and their Precise Micro Eyeliner. First of all, the eye shadow is amazing. I got a really subtle color by the name of “Sand Pebble” and it goes on super smoothly with amazing color. It looks great, but it also works with any eye color and brings more attention to your eyes by making them appear brighter. Plu,s since it’s a very subtle color, it’s perfect for people that are more into natural looking makeup rather then darker colors like black.

As for Precise Micro Eyeliner in the color “Charcoal”, I love this eye liner a lot. First of all, the eyeliner itself is very thin which allows you to create perfect, intricate, lines that are usually very hard to achieve with normal eyeliner. And the color is a very nice subtle gray which is very nice if you want to wear eyeliner, but do not want to have the really heavy, overwhelming look that black eyeliner can create. Plus this eyeliner has great pigmentation and stays on for a long time without smudging. Personally, I wore this eyeliner all day and it looked nearly the same as when I put it on. So if you’re looking to achieve natural looking makeup with long lasting color, give Glo-Minerals makeup a try.  http://www.glo-minerals.com/

Get a Little Wild with Sally Hansen

Sally Hansen hit the runway with the Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2015 Show. Sally Hansen’s Global Color Ambassador Madeline Poole took inspiration from the charming, chic pieces she saw on the runway and created the below nail look. This  ]is the runway look that inspired her along with the steps for  creating this nail look.

Sally Hansen

Sally Hansen

1)      Start with two coats of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Lemon Heaven.

2)      Next, using Miracle Gel in Red Eye, draw short curvy lines on the nail bed to create a continuous pattern.  The thickness of the polish’s brush allows for the perfect chubby squiggled line.

3)      Then, wipe the majority of the polish off the Miracle Gel in Blacky-O brush so that very little is left on the bristles.  Dab the tip of the brush along the center line of the red squiggles.

4)      After allowing the colors to dry for five minutes,  apply Miracle Gel Top Coat to seal the look.

Have some Pony Tail Fun with GOODY

unnamed

I recently got my hair cut to shoulder length and donated the remainder of the cut hair (over 10 inches) to Locks of Love.  I have had some of a difficult time getting used to it, especially wearing it off of my face in a ponytail.  I am not used to the look of a short ponytail. What I have been doing is curling my hair then putting it into a pony tail. I think it looks better curled for a ponytail look than straight at this length.  I got a bunch of colored hair elastics so I could brighten up the look and not feel so boring in a short ponytail. I use the hair elastics from a 30 piece Goody set.  I like that I can wear one or more and mix and match.

Today when this picture was taken, I wore only one color but other times I have worn up to three at once. I love the polka dot ones.  There is 10X more in the package that I have so I will always have enough.  I lose them a lot when I take them out from day to night or to change my look at my friends house or put them on for gym class. You can get them at  drugstores or Walmart store. They are easy to find.

Top it off with Sally Hansen

I recently got to try two polishes from Sally Hansen that my girlfriends and I have never tried before.  The colors are ”Over the Rain Blue”  and “Goldi-Flecks” Topcoats. First, I love the  names, especially “Over the Rain Blue”. It’s an Overcoat. That is the proper name for this sort of polish and I never knew that until reading the Sally Hansen bottle. It’s best worn over a color polish but  it may look good alone, I did not try it that way yet. It’s a sequin polish and it’s $7.99, very affordable.
unnamed-1“Goldi-Flecks” is one of Sally Hansen’s Big Glitter Top Coats. It is glittery and shiny and even more affordable at just $4.99. Thiscolor, like “Over the Rain Blue” Overcoat is best worn over a color polish.
unnamed
I liked working with these polishes and  I now know the differences in Overcoats and Top Coats. These came out at holiday time but this is for use all year long. I like both of them for another reason, when my color polish peels or chips after awhile, I can put one of Sally Hansen’s Top Coats  over it and you wont  notice the difference.

Bittersweet Bracelets are Simple but Amazing

Bittersweet

This is literally one of those products that you say to yourself “Why didn’t I think of this.”  The invention is simple but amazing and I am so excited to wear it!  BitterSweet bracelet was designed to hold an always needed hair tie elastic within a classy bracelet.  If you are like me, I am always strutting a hair tie elastic around my wrist…… not a pretty site especially with a dress.  I do this because when I need my hair pulled back, the hair tie will be readily available and I don’t have to go searching for one….. you can never find one when you are in need of one!  Besides being an eye sore around my wrist and an unfashionable statement, the hair tie elastic was tight and uncomfortable, stopping my circulation and irritating my skin!  They actually made dents around my wrist.  BitterSweet bracelet holds a hair tie elastic in a crevice circling around the stylish bracelet, eliminating the pressure from the elastic to the wrist.

unnamed-2

Believe it or not, the hair tie elastic is actually part of the design of the stylish bracelet.  It is channeled in, making the design of the bracelet look like no other piece of jewelry ever made.  Even when the hair tie elastic is in use holding my hair back, the BitterSweet bracelet is elegant and modern.   Therefore, the bracelet can be worn with or without the hair tie elastic and still look chic.  BitterSweet is a cool way to keep your hair tie elastic readily available with you at all times without the painful elastic band indentions!  With eleven different designs in gold, silver, rose gold or steel finish…. it is hard to chose one!  This stunning invention makes a perfect Valentine’s gift, birthday present or just a “sweet” little surprise for your special person in your life!  If you are a slave to wearing that plain hair tie elastic band around your wrist, don’t wait any longer, let BitterSweet bracelet change your life….. as it changed mine!  Available from $45.00 to $85.00 at http:/www.bittersweet.is/
